At the age of five, Emileigh Rohn began taking piano lessons from her church organist, Mildred Benson, and eventually began singing solos in church. By the age of 13 she received a Casiotone keyboard and began experimenting with electronic music. In her final year of high school she joined an experimental/industrial performance art group called Inter Animi.
In the fall of 1997, while studying molecular biology in Detroit, Rohn joined Calvin P. Simmons in his project Dragon Tears Descending (DTD) as a keyboardist doing performances and supporting other bands. Rohn then left DTD and formed her own project Electrophoretic Transfer in 1998.
Chiasm began in 1998 when Rohn began to entirely produce her own music with her first demo CD named "Embryonic" completed in October. Her song "Bouncing Baby Clones" was featured on a Detroit Electronica compilation CD, D[elEcTROnIc]T, in the spring of 1999. By March 2001, Rohn released her debut album, Disorder on COP International.
Following Disorder, the track "Isolated" was released on the PC Game, "Vampire-The Masqurerade-Bloodlines" as well as used in an episode of the CBS series "Navy:NCIS" in 2003 coinciding with the release of the remix album with labelmate Threat Level 5 titled "Divided We Fall: The Remix Collection". The second full-length solo album, "Relapse" was released in 2005, also on COP.
Chiasm released a virtual single, "Prefrontal EP", exclusively on iTunes in 2006 through COP International. Her new full-length album, titled "REFORM", was released in September 2008! "REFORM" CDs are now available! Be sure to check out the new Facebook page, and keep in touch with her on Myspace where new remixes and random older tracks are also posted for streaming!
Emileigh is currently working on new material, an album called "11:11" and remixes/collaborations with other artists.

Disorder
Chiasm Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Now is erased
Drugs rape the mind
Kills all you find
In a world of disorder I lie awake
Knowing there's nothing I can do
In a world of disorder I lie awake
Take what you love
Prey from above
Cry as you heal
Smile as they kneel
In a world of disorder I lie awake
Knowing there's nothing I can do
In a world of disorder I lie awake
Knowing there's something I can do
Run from the fate
Curse as they wait
Fly as you're still
Play at your will
The song Disorder by Chiasm explores the feeling of helplessness and despair that comes with living in a world that is plagued by chaos and uncertainty. The opening lines, "Time enters space, now is erased" suggest a sense of temporal dislocation, as if the singer has lost all sense of time and place. The reference to drugs "raping the mind" and "killing all you find" underscores the feeling of disorientation and danger that pervades the world.
Against this backdrop, the singer struggles to find a way to cope. The repeated refrain of "In a world of disorder I lie awake, knowing there's nothing I can do...knowing there's something I can do" suggests that the singer is caught between a sense of hopelessness and a desire to find some way to exert agency and make a difference, no matter how small.
The verses that follow offer a series of contradictory and sometimes paradoxical instructions: "Take what you love, prey from above, cry as you heal, smile as they kneel," "Run from the fate, curse as they wait, fly as you're still, play at your will." The chaotic and surreal imagery of these lines further reinforces the sense of disorientation and confusion that permeates the song.
Overall, Disorder is a powerful depiction of the struggle to find meaning and purpose in a world that often seems devoid of both.

Look for maddpsyintyst. I'm on Steam and a few other places. If you're nice folk, you're welcome to knock on the door.
OK, TLDR: I have these ideas about good games, and I was hoping for more from Bloodlines than I felt that I got...details follow.
To be fair, I feel like I've been lucky enough to play some heavily influential games in the genres that I think Bloodlines was aiming to channel, and my bar is pretty high and getting higher with every game. These guys did OK for the tiny size of world they built in Bloodlines, but I felt like it could've and should've been a LOT bigger, and stealthier, and maybe some other stuff. More on that later...
Games I draw from, some of which were out around or before this one, range from Thief 1 and 2 (plus the TTLG fan missions, some of which rivalled the original game), Driver series (up to 3--and yeah, GTA, but I never got around to those), Just Cause series (played 1, and my PC was too slow for 2, but I got the idea), both Styx games (current faves of the stealth genre)...basically enough stealth and open-world experiences to realize that Bloodlines didn't really achieve either at a time in which those ideas had already been blowing people's minds on a regular basis. I should also mention that I value content over graphics. Hell, as I type this, I'm playing Civ3! 😂 (I also have a reasonably sizable list of older games I'd play again)
Oh, yeah, and I did my homework on the tabletop RPG. The story potential is quite rich! I'm up for more, so long as the story is good.
Now, with all that said about the game, I know that some devs' hands are tied by their masters and all the money they threaten to withhold. Also, I suspect that if I'd played it in 2004, I might have enjoyed it more. I played it in 2019, though. Truthfully, I feel like I should give the game another shot eventually, and I probably will. If they ever come out with a new one, and it looks like it'll hold its own with a vengeance in this market, I'll give it a lurk.
Anyway, sorry it was so much, but I'm not exactly known for brevity. 😜

@AnalFlamethrower
Same here.
@TheVinor14
You know she is a good artist when her entire fan base actively searches for her music with almost no promotional media presence.
@symptomy3712
@Blackbird Blues Yeah that was good exposure for her. Aside from that back in the day, her stuff wasn't easy to find unless you knew how to look.
@alexandrumacedon291
@Anal Flamethrower There is a new game coming out i didnt see the gameplay. new york.
@AnalFlamethrower
@Alexandru Macedon I´ve heard about it, but I don´t really care since I won´t be able to play it anytime soon.
@Zbaaetrvorkee
Obviously discovered Chiasm by playing VTMB, such a great game with a unique atmosphere. Actually "Isolated" is a track that can describe perfectly the atmosphere in the game itself
