Things are going my way
Sun is arising mesmerizing everything I say
People all around this uptight town
Someone's gonna recoginze me
Ain't it time
Lady luck won't you please come to me I can't wait any longer
I spend all my time writing notes and rhyme
Tryin' to find new dimensions
Ain't it time
Time for movin' on
Time enough to grow
Time enough to find myself
Everything's okay
What a lucky day
Time enough to play my guitar
Competition everywhere is getting all of us down
I've been makin' all the rounds I feel like a train on the wrong track
Don't get lost 'cause you might get caught going out
The wrong door now
Ain't it time
Time for movin' on
Time enough to grow
Time enough to find myself
Everything's okay
What a lucky day
Time enough to play my guitar

One of the best songs on the album. I always loved the guitar riff and Cetera belting out the background vocals! Dacus was a great guitar player. He had huge shoes to fill and he did well.

I think this song has solid playing on it including the guitar. However the songs they did when Terry Kath was alive and in the band were the best songs that Chicago put out in my opinion. This album they tried more of a hard rock approach. Some of it was good and some not so good. The production on this album was good also.

I love the way the music slowly gets louder and louder in the beginning!

What i've thought about Donnie Dacus, I could have much more his guitar solos as well as vocals. It was natural that he was different from his predecessor Terry Kath. I think Donnie was much more hard-rock-like as well as jazzier(fusion-like) somewhat.

Donnie Dacus was a wonderful addition.

Nice Chicago tune featuring Donnie Dacus on lead guitar & lead vocals. It's a shame Dacus was let go from the band after "Hot Streets"' follow-up, "Chicago 13". Dacus got his start teaching guitar in his youth before teaming up with Stephen Stills et. al.. After he was fired from Chicago, Dacus seemed to obscurely disappear into thin air. What a shame, as he was a good fit for Chicago. His guitar solo on "Alive Again" is proof of Dacus's musicianship within the band.
Best wishes, Donnie Dacus!

Didn't they put this out right after terry Kath died?? I seem to remember his face was somehow "added" for the cover...
