Introduction
Chick Corea Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Slipping down railings
And balconies
With a sleepy ease I never knew
I navigate my way to you

Indigent darkness
Thick as a dream
A liquid party underneath
Though i'm still shaky and weak

Knees pressed against the leather couch
I couldn't find my bra
You were so familiar
I think that I lean out too far
I wouldn't have if my heart
And my stomach hadn't fallen
So hard

That's some hat trick
An effortless move
That tearful frantic creature
Seems far away from here

My new orleans nickel ring
Your deep wilson tattoo
Under the bullshit radar
I came to find you

Knees pressed against the leather couch
I couldn't find my bra and
You were so familiar
I think that I leaned out too far
I wouldn't have if my heart
And my stomach hadn't fallen
So hard

Knees pressed against the leather couch
I couldn't find my bra and
You were so familiar
I think that I leaned out too far
I wouldn't have if my heart

And my stomach hadn't fallen
So hard

Dear Chick Corea,
I was a young boy at the age of 15 when I tirst heard this piece on" light as a feather".
This music touched me immediately and so I started to buy many of your records.
My love to Jazz has allready started and the adventure is still going on! At the age of 48 I started playing piano(much to late!!) and now I`m 54 and started playing "Spain" in an easy version.
But I am very abmitious to play it (nearly!) as you do! My teacher says it would be possible, if I work hard. And I will do so!!
Thank you for your music, it has changed my life in a beautiful way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kind regards
Theo

Damn, 6 years and at the best you could play an easy version? Guess this song must be some kind of difficulty that i cant even coincive....i wish you will play this piece! Best luck my friend!

@DJmisterpeluca

@@mlggodzilla1567 it's a jazz standard, it's not too difficult if you have the level, it also depends on how disciplined are you when practicing
