This slightly sardonic, fatalistic penchant is a recurrent theme in her music and what first caught the attention of the blogosphere as well as people like Elton John, Diplo and actress Chloë Moretz - with her debut song ’27 Club’ racking up over 2 million in a matter of months and hitting the top 100 most shazamed songs, with no label backing.
After being somewhat derailed by a bad record deal, she moved back to Los Angeles where she started taking control of things herself. Since returning she has learned to be fully self sufficient. Overseeing releases, directing and editing videos, and even doing her own PR. Something she says she finds very empowering
It’s an attitude that so far seems to be proving fruitful. Her star on the walk of fame may be a little ways off yet, but with recent songs like ‘Waterbed’ and her melodically refreshing new offering ‘Spaceman' - it’s a star that seems destined to rise.
Sacrifice

You've been blaming all your cards
I've been running all my life
Tell me what you know 'bout sacrifice
You ain't gonna do the things that I did
Things I had to do just get here
Gave up everything so I could be this
Do it for the kids and you do it for the hundies
For a little bit of this and a little bit of money
(What you know about it?
What you know about it?
What you know about it now?)
Hey
You'd be fucking dead by now if you had to see what I did
Casting couch?
Think you can fuck your way in?
Well laugh out loud that's some real stupidity
Think I got here by using these itty bitty titties?
I've given up a hell of a lot
I wish that all it took was a cock
If fame was a side effect of swallowing ye
We'd all be drinking dick flavored kool aid
And there'd be like a billion Kim K's
I've been saying oh my god
You've been blaming all your cards
I've been running all my life
Tell me what you know 'bout sacrifice
While you was getting high taking long vacations
I was on my grind fucking dedicated
Fat cats on they ass with the tv and lasagna
I'm the kill bill montage
Tongue like a Katana
Do it for the kids and you do it for the hundies
For a little bit of this and a little bit of money
(What you know about it?
What you know about it?
What you know about it now?)
Hey
My old friends they be criticizing
"Damn she really changed!
Who the fuck she think she is? Why she got no wedding ring?"
Even the good ones they always say
"When you gonna give up live the right way?"
Like "Why you gotta go and do me like that?
Why you never ever call me right back?"
'Cause I was born for this and I will sacrifice you
Like the kid in the glasses from Lord of the Flies boo
All the places that I haunted
All the friends that I forgotten
Tell me how to live my life
But what you know bout Sacrifice?
I've been saying oh my god
You've been blaming all your cards
I've been running all my life
Tell me what you know bout sacrifice
The song "Sacrifice" by Chløë Black is about the struggles and sacrifices she had to make to achieve success in the music industry. In the first verse, she mentions the difference between her and those who want to achieve the same level of success. Chløë was willing to make sacrifices to get where she is, while others were not. She challenges those who criticize her for not being "real" enough by asking them what they know about sacrifice.
The second verse of the song is a commentary on the entertainment industry and the expectation that women must use their bodies to gain success. Chløë dismisses the idea that she used her body to get where she is and underscores how much effort she had to put into her work. In the third verse, she addresses her critics directly, challenging their perception of her and her lifestyle. She acknowledges that she had to give up certain things to get where she is, and that her sacrifices were necessary to achieve her goals.
Overall, "Sacrifice" is a song about the hard work and dedication required to achieve greatness, and the criticism and skepticism one may face along the way.

Where Ea find these bangers we’ll never know
@scully1081
Only thing they're working on. Finding good tracks for fifa but thwy forget the gameplay
@Hilly092
Legit though. Like this slaps so hard, yet I've never hear of Chloe Black. So happy I have now! Her music is sick
@rudydz4159
Haha yea
@disruptor6550
Yeah, you can hate on the game all you want for its gameplay (and rightly so) but what they always do well is discovering "smaller" artists and giving them some spotlight. They bring those artists to people's attention and give them the recognition they deserve. I would have never found Chloe Black if EA didn't include this song in their soundtrack. And that goes for so many artists that were featured in all the previous Fifas. There's so much unseen talent in the world and we gotta thank EA to make us notice some of them!
