Chorale signed to Scandinavian A1 Music at winter 2003. The "Scooter of Finland" released their first album in 2005 and it entered the local album charts at #15.
Chorale's first singer was Maija-Helena Meskanen (Maikku) in 2000, but she performed only one tune (Huominen). In 2001 came Hanna-Leena Saarinen (Hansku), who sang thier few next eurodance tunes. In fall 2001 a girl from Tampere offered one of her tunes for them to remix. This is how Lydia Luoma-aho (born December 1977) found her way to Chorale and Rakkauden Maa was done.
Besides Chorale, Lydia also has a solo project called La Masina.

olen miettinyt tätä juttua
Tiedän että liian pitkään
on kestänyt se sulle kertoa
Tiedän että aivan liikaa
olet antanut aikaa mulle
Tiedän että liian kauan
Lähdit pois
Lähdit luotani ja koskaan palaa et
Lähdit luotani ja koskaan nää sua enää en
Lähdit luotani ja tiedän nyt vain sen
Lähdit luotani ja enää nää sua en
Lähdit pois
Lähdit luotani ja koskaan palaa et
Lähdit luotani ja koskaan nää sua enää en
Lähdit luotani ja tiedän nyt vain sen
Lähdit luotani ja enää nää sua en
Lähdit pois
Lähdit luotani ja koskaan palaa et
Lähdit luotani ja enää nää sua en
The lyrics to Chorale's song "Lähdit luotani" express the pain and regret of losing someone who was once close to the singer. The first stanza acknowledges that the singer has been thinking about the situation too much and for too long, but still hasn't been able to express their feelings to the other person. The second stanza acknowledges that the other person gave the singer too much time and attention, and may have ended up feeling overwhelmed or frustrated as a result.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Lähdit luotani" which translates to "You left me". The repetition emphasizes the finality of the situation and the fact that the other person is not coming back. The final line, "Enää nää sua en", translates to "I will never see you again", further emphasizing the theme of loss and separation.
The song is a powerful expression of the emotions that come with the end of a relationship, and the regret and sadness that can linger long after someone is gone. The repetition of the chorus makes it a haunting and memorable song that stays with listeners long after they hear it.
