And I'm all about my Gualas,
Even though they say more money more problems,
But I don't picture me going on no job hunt,
Money pillin' up now that's somethin' to be proud of,
Yeah I'm killin' 'em, but it's not my fault,
Cuz I've been on my grind, ha Tony Hawk,
And them rims are 28's, Marshall Faulk,

The lyrics of Chris Brown's song Don't Lie revolve around the idea that people often lie in different situations, but the numbers resulting from those situations never lie. The first verse mentions how men and women lie frequently, but the numbers and facts never deceive, which is an indication that they should not trust people easily. In the second verse, Brown talks about his success, his riches, and how he has been working hard to achieve his dreams. He talks about how his money keeps mounting, and he is proud of it. He confidently states that he is all about his money, and he doesn't care much what people think about him.
The chorus repeats the idea that, even though people may lie about their experiences or achievements, their financial status never lies. Brown's lyrics contain a sense of pride, confidence, and determination that indicate he is not ready to give up his hard work in achieving his goals. Through the lyrics, he urges people to believe in themselves, ignore naysayers and keep pushing towards their goals.
