The lyrics to Chris Brown and Ester Dean's song, "Drop It Low," are an ode to confident and empowered women. The song acknowledges and celebrates the power of femininity and the ability of women to take charge of their sexuality and assert their dominance in a club setting. The lyrics boast about the singer's ability to command attention and admiration from both men and women with their dance moves and physical prowess.
The first stanza emphasizes the theme of empowerment, calling out all "boss bitches" and "money-making bitches," inviting them to throw their hands in the air and embrace their own power. Brown boasts of his Patron-filled cup, signaling that he is unbothered by anyone's judgment or perception of his behavior. The chorus then takes on a more sexual tone, with Brown and Dean calling out the listener, inviting them to watch them shake and drop it low, promising a show that they will enjoy.
The second verse incorporates a sexual partner, with Brown urging his partner to move their body around him and calling out the strength of their attractiveness. The bridge highlights the mutual admiration between Brown and his partner, both expressing their satisfaction with each other's bodies and moves.
Overall, the song celebrates female empowerment and sexuality, while also incorporating a fun and upbeat dance vibe.
