If I should die before I wake
It's 'cause you took my breath away
Losing you is like living in a world with no air, oh
I'm here alone, didn't wanna leave
My heart won't move, it's incomplete
But how
Do you expect me, to live alone with just me?
'Cause my world revolves around you
It's so hard for me to breathe
Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
That's how I feel whenever you ain't there
There's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you gon' be without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
There's no air, no air
No air air, No air air
I walked, I ran, I jumped, I flew right off
The ground and float to you
There's no gravity to hold me down, for real
But somehow I'm still alive inside
You took my breath but I survived
I don't know how but I don't even care
So how do you expect me to live alone with just me?
'Cause my world revolves around you
It's so hard for me to breathe
Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
That's how I feel whenever you ain't there
There's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you gon' be without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
There's no air, no air
No air air, No air air
Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
That's how I feel whenever you ain't there
There's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you gon' be without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
There's no air, no air
No air air, No air air
Got me here out in the water so deep
Tell me how you goin' be without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
There's no air, no air
No air air, no air air
The song "No Air" by Chris Brown featuring Jordin Sparks is a song about being in love with someone so deeply that their absence would leave one feeling suffocated and breathless. The lyrics use imagery comparing the feeling of losing a loved one to a world without air, emphasizing that it is impossible to continue living without them. The song starts with the question, "Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air?" which sets the tone for the rest of the song.
The second verse shifts the focus to the singer's physical reactions to the absence of the person they love. They explain that their heart won't move, and they feel incomplete without this person. They express a deep desire to make them understand the intensity of their feelings. The song's chorus is then repeated, driving home the idea of feeling suffocated and desperate without their loved one.
In the final verse, the lyrics use the imagery of floating in the air towards the person they love despite nothing holding them down, and surviving despite having their breath taken away. The song ends with a repetition of the chorus, emphasizing the point that without the person they love, there is no air for them to breathe.
Overall, "No Air" is a powerful song that taps into the intense emotions associated with being in love and the fear of losing that love. It highlights how profound the effect of losing someone can be on an individual, leaving them feeling breathless and lost without their loved one.
