These drugs I'm on, they ain't nothing to play with (sky high)
I can't feel my face, yeah, yeah (yeah, yeah)
When I pull up on ya (get it, get it)
When I pull up on ya, yeah (get it, get it)
When I pull up on ya, on you (get it, get it)
Oh, I may be the wrong one now
But it's the right time, oh

But I know you got a bad side (mm, I know that you bad)
Oh, I'll slide right through your door (through your door)

Once I get that, just know
When I pull up on ya (yeah, you know that's me)
When I pull up on ya, yeah (yeah, get it, that's me)
That's when I pull up on ya, on you (yeah, yeah, my bad, on you, yeah)

A couple ling lings, I fuck with the Asians (Asians)
My Nigerian, African girl can shake it (shake it)
When I pull up on ya (when)

When I pull up on ya (when I pull up on you)
When I pull up on ya (woo, ooh)
When I pull up on ya (when I)

In "Pull Up," Chris Brown is singing about the excitement and anticipation of arriving at a woman's house to spend the night with her. He begins by boasting about his work ethic, fueled by the drugs he has taken, and the confidence it gives him to pursue what he desires. As he pulls up to her house, he's aware that she has a good and perhaps innocent side, but he also knows that there is a bad side to her, which intrigues him.
He talks about his preference for women of various ethnicities and affiliations, from Black to Caucasian, Boricuas, and Persians, and he is attracted to their beauty and diversity. When he pulls up to her apartment, his excitement and desire to be with her become heightened, and he makes it clear that he wants the night to be passionate and intense. He wants her to take off all her clothes and quickly indulge in the moment.
The song is characterized by a repeating synth line and bass-heavy beats that give it a sensual and laid-back feel. It's typical of the R&B/hip-hop genre, with smooth hooks that are easy to dance to. Brown's use of imagery and metaphor creates a vivid picture of what he's after, making his intentions clear without being too graphic.

He has this way of making his songs sound enchanting; especially his slower ones.. idek how to explain it. He could sing about a hobo taking a shit on the side of the road and his voice, the beat, the melody, his adlibs in the back, his self-harmonies, etc. would still make the song sound so beautiful lmao
