"There’s a bunch of weirdos that I work with all the time, and we make what I call 'out of whack' Rock records. That’s what I do. When people want an 'out of whack' weird Rock record, they call me, and I take an 'out of whack' amount of money to do it, and I’m glad to be there. It’s cool." (Chris Goss in 2004 about his work)
In late 2004, Chris Goss had to be hospitalized because of severe internal infection and the European leg of his tour in support of his new Masters of Reality album Give Us Barabbas had to be postponed indefinitely. After his recuperation, he joined Jeordie White and Zach Hill to release I Got a Brand New Egg-Laying Machine, a "mini LP" released under the name Goon Moon.
Goss appeareed with his long time friend Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age as "THE 5.15ers" at the "winter edition" of ArthurFest, performing an intimate set which was "crafted in less than a month as the duo was a rather late addition to the Arthurball line-up as Sunday's headliner".

I can feel the tension
Everybody on me
Like I'm some kinda suspect
It's gotten me to thinkin'
Life's some kinda survival
Hell, that'll be the day
When love is my rival
To the Himalayas
I'll find a little ruby
To waste my time with and...
Paint me a picture
And make it the devil
We'll run down the hole if
The roof ain't level
Domino
Domino
Well, I'm shit outta luck today man
Now I'm callin' in my favors
Seems that I can't chew on whipped cream
Without me wakin' up some neighbor who'll...
Paint me a picture
And make it the devil
We'll run down the hole if
The roof ain't level
Domino's fallin'
Black spiders spinnin'
The white gloves flashin'
And I ain't winnin'
Domino
Domino
In Chris Goss's song "Domino," the artist describes feeling overwhelmed and attacked by the people around him. He compares his experience to that of a suspect being pursued by the police, noting that he is always watched and scrutinized with suspicion. These feelings have led him to believe that life is about survival and that love is too elusive to be a rival to this pervasive tension.
Goss then expresses a desire to escape his surroundings, specifically to travel to the Himalayas and find a little ruby to "waste his time with." This suggests that he is seeking a temporary reprieve from his stressful reality.
The chorus of the song, "Domino," speaks to the idea that everything is connected, and one misstep can lead to a domino effect of negative consequences. This theme is reinforced in the second verse when Goss reflects on his current misfortunes, feeling that he is out of luck and indebted to others.
The final lines of the song invoke vivid imagery of chaos and destruction, with dominoes falling, black spiders spinning, and white gloves flashing. Goss appears to be resigned to the fact that he is not winning in this situation.
Overall, "Domino" seems to capture the pervasive feeling of anxiety and stress that can come with modern life, where everything seems to be connected and one wrong move can lead to a chain reaction of negative events.

@nelly712002
How the hell has it taken me this long to stumble on this gem?
Blue Garden is a fabulous album and should have been huge in my opinion.
@ChrisJohnson-zq2xj
For the most part, great bands, great musicians, great albums belong, and remain underground; as it is meant to be.
@need2burn
I've known about them since high school myself (2004). Mainly due to the file-sharing scene back in the day. The live Rockpalast video of the song is awesome, but only 240p. Unfortunately their album version isn't this harder version.
@almostideal1306
It was made about 5 years too early. Hair metal was the rage in 1989 and nobody had time for this Stoner stuff until about '93
@almostideal1306
@Motoroil Same here, but I found it on cassette
@carlincledon4794
@@almostideal1306 Good call, I got this album (on vinyl - that old!) in I think 1990. One of the best albums in the last 30-40 years IMO.

It is so ducking cool to look for covers of your favorite songs and seeing your favorite rockers from other bands playing them too
