I want it all like yesterday, I'm talkin' way much more than the cash
Don't want the flashy cars no designer broads, No it ain't even that
I just want my life to happen, Really happen
Cuz I got a dreams debutin' me, 20 years old livin' no way i shouldn't be
I should be on every Magazine, by now, by now, by now, by now.
and nobody see's you the way you do.
first you rise then u fall then u get right back up
and get where you going baby
then you rise then u fall then u get right back up
with where are you going
Paranoid About yesterdays, I was comin' lookin down
as if I had to straight today, I swear I found another reason to frown
I've seen the good to the bad with from hood to the magic yeah
but its different now.I feel like am just singing, you see I'm changin.
But I got a dream debutin' me, 20 years old livin no way i shouldn't be
I should Be on every Magazine, By now, by now, by now, by now.
But nobody see's me the way I do
and nobody see's you the way you do.
first you rise then u fall then u get right back up
and get where you going
then you rise then u fall then u get right back up
with where are you going
where are you going baby?
(x4)
But no body see's me the way I do
and nobody see's you the way you do.
first you rise then u fall then u get right back up
and get where you going
then you rise then u fall then u get right back up
with where are you going
Where you going now? child?
In Chrishan's song "Where R U Going," the lyrics express the frustration and eagerness of a young man who is striving to fulfill his dreams. He begins by acknowledging that he has been criticized for moving too fast and spending all of his money on his dreams. However, he is unapologetic about his desire to make it big, even though he wants more than just the money and the fame. He wants his life to truly happen.
The lyrics are filled with ambition and impatience as Chrishan talks about his desire to be on every magazine cover and be recognized for his talent. He is aware that he is different from others and that nobody sees him the way he sees himself. He has experienced the ups and downs of life, but he is determined to keep moving forward and achieve his goals. He recognizes that life is a journey, and it's important to keep rising even after falling.
The chorus repeats the line "where are you going" to emphasize the importance of knowing your destination and having a clear vision of your future. The song ends with the question "where you going now, child," which shows the uncertainty and the open-endedness of life.
Overall, "Where R U Going" is a song that speaks to the dreams and desires of young people who are trying to make it big in the world. It is a reminder that success takes time and perseverance, but if you keep rising after every fall, you will eventually get to where you need to be.
