Grimmie is best known for her video with Sam Tsui, covering Nelly's "Just a Dream", which has over 146 million views on YouTube as of January 2018. She has over 542 million views on her channel as of January 2018. She placed within the top 5 of the MyYoutube competition, along with Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber.

Grimmie has performed in the UNICEF charity concert, and has also performed backup vocals for Selena Gomez & the Scene, and was on the 2011 first ever Digitour, especially designed for YouTube artists. She appeared on the Billboard Social 50. She also opened for Selena Gomez & The Scene, Allstar Weekend and The Jonas Brothers during the 2011 Concert of Hope. She toured with Selena Gomez & the Scene, opening for them in the "We Own the Night" tour. She released an EP, titled 'Find Me', on June 14, 2011 Her first single "Advice" was released to Radio Disney on June 11th.

More than two years later, on August 6th 2013, her first full-length album 'With Love' was released.

Grimmie auditioned for Season 6 of The Voice performing Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" and went on to finish in 3rd place.

On February 21st, 2016 she released a second EP titled 'Side A'.

On June 10th, 2016, Grimmie was shot and killed while signing autographs after a concert in Orlando, Florida.

Her final EP, titled 'Side B', was released on April 21, 2017.

A posthumous second album, 'All Is Vanity', was released on June 9, 2017, a day before the anniversary of her death.

In one of Christina' s videos, Christina herself said, and I quote exactly what she said, " My goal in my career is to get my music out there, and to have people enjoy it, and to have people think of me as an inspirational artist." That pretty much says it all, doesn't it? She wanted, no matter what, for everyone to listen to her music and be happy, just like you said. Being happy while listening to her music, which she worked very hard to write and produce by the way,is enjoyment. No one can change what happened to her, and that sucks, so we have no choice but to do the best we can with the circumstances being the way they are. I'm with you on that one. I just finished listening to alot of her music, and watching her videos, and enjoying them all. I played my piano right along with many of them, too. Something tells me she would approve of that. I told myself I wouldn't comment on her videos because I didn't know about her while she was with us and I'm only now going through her videos to see how amazing of a person she was so I don't feel like I truly have the right to share your grief. This is a great song! Moral of the story: Love what you do. Don't give up. Follow your dreams. Thank you, Christina. My dream is to be an Astronomer. It's not a talent like singing or dancing, just something I love. I've lacked so much confidence in myself. I've felt like I'll never achieve my dream, especially being a C average student when I was in high school. To be an Astronomer or Physicist, I have always felt like you need to be a genius, but because of you, I will continue to follow my dreams. Thank you, Christina. God Bless you.

My daughter and i use to watch Christina's videos online together. When she was on The Voice, we voted for her every week. We were going to make a Christina concert our first concert together. Sadly she passed before we could see her. So when i am having a bad day, i watch THIS video, and it ALWAYS brightens my day. You are missed Sweet Girl!!!

The horror of Christina's death still hurts in someone abstract way. But listening to this song just makes me happy, it really helps to get the good memories of listening to a great artist and awesome person back to the front. My gosh christina has a really pretty voice, she's been my favorite singer for 4 years, and every year she keeps getting better and better, there's no doubt if she will be in the list of the best singer in the world and she's so pretty and I totally love her style, she kills all the song that she sings :D
