Letissier has used numerous personal and stage names, and remarked that he "just ha many names for all the layers". He began his career as Christine and the Queens. For his second studio album, he shortened it to Chris, which was accompanied by a shift to a persona described as "a woman playing with masculine tropes". In October 2021, he was using the name Rahim. This sparked a debate around cultural appropriation due to the name's Arabic origin. He eventually began using a succession of different names such as Sam le pompier (the French title of Fireman Sam) and a full stop before settling on Redcar, sometimes shortened as Red. In August 2022, he updated his pronouns to he/him across social media platforms. In 2023, with the release of fourth album Paranoïa, Angels, True Love, he seemed to have reverted to simply Chris. However, he still occasionally uses his birth name, about which he said: "Héloïse Letissier is my parents' provenance and I love my parents. I sometimes use Héloïse to reconnect me to my childhood, but my inner child name is Manamané."

Me montre tout
Et pointe du doigt
La non-beauté des nudités
Pour m'initier
Dans un sourire
À la chaleur humaine
Ce gamin là
Me montre tout
Me montre tout
Et pointe du doigt
La non-beauté des nudités
Pour m'initier
Dans un sourire
À la chaleur humaine
Ce gamin là
Me montre tout
Et pointe du doigt
La non-beauté des nudités
Pour m'initier
Dans un sourire
À la chaleur humaine (À la chaleur humaine)
À la chaleur humaine (À la chaleur humaine)
À la chaleur humaine (À la chaleur humaine)
À la chaleur humaine
À la chaleur humaine (À la chaleur humaine)
À la chaleur humaine (À la chaleur humaine)
À la chaleur humaine
À la chaleur humaine
The lyrics of Christine and the Queens’s song, 85. Chaleur humaine, convey a strong message of rebellion against sexual repression and the societal norms that dictate the way people should behave with their bodies. The singer expresses her opposition to chastity and the shame and guilt that often come with it, stating that people should not be afraid to embrace their sexuality and physicality. The song shows how freedom and liberation can be found in the acceptance of one's natural desires and needs.
Throughout the song, the singer refers to a boy who teaches her about the beauty of nudity and intimacy. The boy supports her in discovering her own desires and guides her towards accepting her body and the warmth of human connection. The lyrics suggest that by rejecting conventional standards of chastity and embracing one's natural instincts and emotions, we can find refuge and self-acceptance in the warmth of human relationships.
The lyrics are powerful and poignant, setting the scene for an anthem of self-liberation and acceptance. The message of rejecting societal norms and embracing one's sexuality is a universal one that many individuals can identify with. The song can serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-acceptance, inclusivity, and love for oneself and others.
