Letissier has used numerous personal and stage names, and remarked that he "just ha many names for all the layers". He began his career as Christine and the Queens. For his second studio album, he shortened it to Chris, which was accompanied by a shift to a persona described as "a woman playing with masculine tropes". In October 2021, he was using the name Rahim. This sparked a debate around cultural appropriation due to the name's Arabic origin. He eventually began using a succession of different names such as Sam le pompier (the French title of Fireman Sam) and a full stop before settling on Redcar, sometimes shortened as Red. In August 2022, he updated his pronouns to he/him across social media platforms. In 2023, with the release of fourth album Paranoïa, Angels, True Love, he seemed to have reverted to simply Chris. However, he still occasionally uses his birth name, about which he said: "Héloïse Letissier is my parents' provenance and I love my parents. I sometimes use Héloïse to reconnect me to my childhood, but my inner child name is Manamané."

Spatiale épopée
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Humanoïdes en
Papier découpé
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Des astres épars
Dont l'on ne revient jamais
Espace sans mémoire
Un jour je partirai
Pour neuf planètes, autant de vies
J'attends la marée céleste
Neuf planètes, autant de vies
La lumière comme dernier geste
Neuf planètes, autant de vies
J'attends la marée céleste
Neuf planètes, autant de vies
La lumière comme dernier geste
Tout est compté
En millions d'années
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Tu restes ici
Je veux voyager
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Stringe al cuore della stella morente
Des astres épars
D'où l'on ne revient jamais
Espace sans mémoire
Un jour je partirai
Pour neuf planètes, autant de vies
J'attends la marée céleste
Neuf planètes, autant de vies
La lumière comme dernier geste
Neuf planètes, autant de vies
J'attends la marée céleste

The lyrics to Christine and the Queens' "Science Fiction" touch on the idea of space travel and the unknown. The lines "Short galaxie, Spatiale épopée" (Short galaxy, Spatial epic) set the tone for the rest of the song as Christine explores the concept of exploring different planets and the possibility of finding life outside of Earth. The following line, "Stringe al cuore della stella morente" (Clutching at the heart of the dying star) adds a sense of urgency to the narration.
The lyrics continue to describe humanoid figures cut from paper, representing the fragility of human life in comparison to the vastness of space. Christine sings of "astres épars" (scattered stars) that one cannot return from and an "espace sans mémoire" (space without memory). These phrases reinforce the idea of the great unknown that exists in space, and the fact that space travel can lead to a loss of connection to one's past.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Pour neuf planètes, autant de vies" (For nine planets, as many lives) while Christine looks forward to the unknown and the possibility of finding new life on other planets. The lyrics demonstrate a sense of longing for exploration and discovery, with the repetition of the phrase "Stella, stella à qui" (Stella, dear stella) as if talking to a beloved friend.

tu me fais planer comme cocteau twins
ne changes rien !
si une chose peut être , le français devient si beau quand tu chantes ,
tu sais donner une telle musique aux mots et c'est si rare que je te préfère en français
mille bravos pour ton travail
@Lunamine
This is the type of music you listen once and you fall instantly in love with it in the ten first seconds of it.
I'm listening it in repeat !

Je suis plutôt hip-hop ou electro/EDM mais ça je dois dire que c'est une vraie tuerie. Découvert par hasard en 2017 et je reviens régulièrement depuis. Pure fire 🔥🔥🔥
@poumon1232
The greatest song of the album. There's something irresistible and insane in the melody of the chorus...
@orfeocookie
Of all the songs on the album, this is the one I'm most obsessed with. And I don't care whether it's the French version or the English one.
@ramsdams8402
