After playing saxophone and piano for a couple of years, and also participating in a hip hop dance group, he became very serious about hip hop music. In 2006, at the age of 12, he formed the hip hop music group Chrome Cats, which also included his sister, cousin, and two of his sister’s friends. He wrote over 20 songs that summer but only had the chance to record a few. After the summer ended, it was harder for him and his sister to team up the other members in the group due to school and schedules. So Korland continued writing and recording songs with his sister.

Jamila Sims was born February 20th, 1997 in Vallejo, CA. She loved dancing, which brought her to Dance Unlimited studios in Vallejo. Over the course of 3 years she learned tap, ballet, and hip hop. She performed at various dance events and won many trophies. In 2006 the Chrome Cats music group was formed, which enabled Jamila to add to her love of entertaining. As a founding member of the group, Jamila continues to contribute both lead and background vocals
