Control
Chromium Lyrics

This won't control us forever more
Break from this purpose, rise inside
Trust what you see in these eyes
I can't control this by myself
There's no erasing lies
Gone
There is a one that slowly
Bare to believe that's all I have of me
Fight for your freedom, always strive
Path for salvation in your life
I can't control this by myself
There's no erasing lies
Gone
There is a one that slowly
Bare to believe that's all I have of me
There is a one that slowly
Bare to believe that's all I have of me
There is a feeling in us all
This won't control us forever more
Break it, control it, control
The lyrics of Chromium's song "Control" seem to be about overcoming a sense of helplessness or being trapped in a situation that feels beyond our control. The first stanza describes this feeling as something we all experience, but that doesn't have to control us forever. The second stanza suggests that we need to rely on others to help us break free from this feeling and acknowledge the truth, rather than trying to do it alone. The repeated line "There is a one that slowly, bare to believe that's all I have of me" could be interpreted as a call to action, encouraging listeners to take a chance and trust in themselves, even if it feels like they're starting with very little.
Overall, the message of the song seems to be one of hope and resilience, urging listeners to believe in their own agency and ability to change their circumstances. The repeated refrain to "break it, control it, control" reinforces this idea of taking charge and refusing to be held down by external forces.
