Spanish pop/rock band Chucho was formed by singer/guitarist Fernando Alfaro after Surfin' Bichos disbanded in 1994, who was soon joined by ex-República Gorila bassist Carlos Rodríguez and drummer Javier Fernández. The group recorded a self-titled EP in 1995, released by independent Limbo Starr Records. Chucho's first album, called 78, was recorded after signing up to Virgin in 1997; the album includes "El Detonador EMX-3," which was featured in the movie soundtrack of Alejandro Amenabar's Abre Los Ojos. 78, voted Best Record of the Year by Rock de Luxe magazine, was followed by an EP called Sal. After guitarist Miguel Gascón joined in, the band recorded Tejido de Felicidad, produced by ex-Negu Gorriak Kaki Arkarazo, released by Virgin in 1999. Singer Isabel León and local musician Emilio Abengoza teamed up with Chucho to make 2001's Los Diarios de Petróleo.
Afterwards in 2004 Chucho released their last album called "Koniec" and then disbanded. Nowadays ex-members of Chucho and Mercromina has joined again to tour as old Surfin' Bichos.

mójame la sangre
y hazme fuerte.
Lluvia, bendíceme,
hazme grande
y hazme fuerte.
Aguacero al infinito, repite conmigo,
muerte igual a infinito, ya no quiero verte,
ya no puedo verte...
Aguacero al infinito...
Lluvia, bendíceme,
crúzame las células
y hazme fuerte.
Ducha, congélame,
enfríame la celda,
acolcha la muerte.
Aguacero al infinito, repite conmigo,
cero igual al infinito, repite conmigo...
Te buscaré
debajo de las piedras
para tenerte,
Muerte, cancelaré
todas mis cuentas
para tenerte.
No la elegiré,
Muerte llega
inevitablemente,
no la elegiré,
Muerte llega
inevitablemente.
In the song "Aguacero al Infinito" by Chucho, the lyrics express an intimate and intense relationship between the singer and the rain. The rain is described as the one who embraces the singer, wets their blood, and strengthens them. However, the lyrics also reveal a darker side to this relationship, as the singer begs for death, repeating the phrase "zero equals infinity" and stating that they no longer want to see death. The rain, as a force of nature, is seen as both a blessing and a curse, the one who can cross the singer's cells and make them strong, but also freeze their cells and cushion death. The singer's relationship with death is complex, as they both actively seek it and fear it.
The final stanza of the song speaks directly to death, with the singer saying that they will search for it even under rocks in order to have it. The singer cancels all their accounts to have death, showing that death is not only something they fear, but also desire. Despite this desire, the singer acknowledges that death is inevitable and cannot be chosen.
Overall, the song expresses a deep emotional connection to nature and the forces beyond human control, as well as an intense emotional struggle with death.
