1. Circ are producer Alexander Perls (009 Sound System, Icebreaker International) and vocalist Madelin Lane (Madelin Zero). The two met at a Sonic Youth concert on The Bowery in New York City during the summer of 2001. Perls had been living in NYC since 1998, working for the American video artist Matthew Barney. Madelin had moved to NYC six months earlier, and was working for a midtown talent agent as a talent scout for the daytime soap operas. After some conversation, somehow it turned out that Perls was looking for a vocalist for a track he was producing and Madelin wanted to try some singing. He said he had a song called "Destroy She Said" which needed a vocalist. Perls and Madelin first recorded in Perls' basement studio in Chinatown, right near the East River in Lower Manhattan. The vocal tracks for "Destroy She Said" were all recorded during one very hot night during the summer of 2001, four months before the September 11th attacks. The lyrical reference to "the towers" is merely coincidental. Their debut album Love Electric was released in Germany in 2004. The duo disbanded shortly thereafter in 2005.
2. CIRC (François Rousseau) who can be found at http://circ.bandcamp.com/, is a French indie electronica artist who makes catchy, steady, abstract and experimental electronic songs with fascinating rhythmics, melodies & dirty sounds. His instrumental electronic songs tell so much with only a few elements without sounding repetitive. It's addictive and you just want more.
Electric Love
Circ Lyrics

A transmission of love's delay
You see a sign, it keeps you on the run
You can find it if you keep it on
Cross your wires for love electric
Plug me in, take me home
Cross the lines for love electric
There's a cold tide rising off the shore
A vessel wanders off its nightly course
If you signal with the code of love
It comes in faster like static from above
Cross your wires for love electric
Plug me in, take me home
Cross the lines for love electric
I'm an army in your zone
On the streets and in the fields
On the beach and under seas
You can hear the sound
Of wires crossing underground for love
If you think you can hide
You will find you can't survive
Your circuits screaming
Chasing out the night for love
For love
Cross your wires for love electric
Plug me in, take me home
Cross the lines for love electric
I'm an army in your zone
The lyrics of CIRC's song "Electric Love" talks about the concept of love in the digital age, where technology reigns supreme, and people are more connected than ever before. The distance satellites send out signals of love's delay, and the singer chases after a sign that leads them on a wild goose chase. However, they find solace in the idea that they will find love if they keep looking for it.

The singer's desire for love is likened to electricity, a powerful force that energizes and excites. They are willing to cross wires and lines to find love, irrespective of the risks involved. The underlying message of the song is that love is an all-powerful force that can connect people across all boundaries.
In summary, the lyrics of "Electric Love" are a testament to the power of love in the digital era.
