Coming From Atlantic City New Jersey, CircleDown is a band that blends the music of hardcore, metal and alternative genres into a heavy groove driven, melodic sound.
Members include Diode, Cansh, Reebus and Dean. Creating their distinctive sound comes from a wide range of influences and many facets of diversified musical styles. What they bring to the table is a style that they can call their own while at the same time creating something appealing to alternative, rock, hardrock, hardcore and metal fans alike.

We are being misled into believing that we should pick one theory or another.

I believe that the virus is real - just not exactly what has been reported.
The bull shit tests not testing for anything but exosomes is real - and there was plenty of evidence around to prove it.

It is so incredibly individualistic, there's a huge culture of self-sufficiency, total personal responsibility (we have some, but there's a lot about ourselves we're not responsible for), it is a very convenient ideology for the population to have from the point of view of big businesses and the ultra rich. Narcissism is rewarded and if something bad happens to you and you don't have a very supportive family, you're carrion. Not that collectivism is the answer, it can also be crap. It's just shockingly extreme over there, so many people in miserable living conditions and the tolerance of ultra rich people who openly cheat their way out of paying taxes in ways that normal people can't, to avoid giving back to the living, breathing system that allowed them to succeed. The pandemic makes people poorer, or homeless, and Bezos gets wealthier. It's like the population must passively watch these giant parasites suck the blood out of their country because they are protected by the State, so they might as well like it and try to become one of them

My younger brother committed suicide last weekend by overdosing on something. He was found with headphones on, presumably listening to something. This is his youtube account. He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on. I love you Darius, I'll miss you everyday for the rest of my life...

@@johnlancaster1592 Sorry for the delay, John. I'm no expert and you could just google it, but I'll give it a go. Plato has a theory called the "Divided Line." At the most basic level, it's about different levels of thought, from low to high, ranging from imagination/ opinion/ personal beliefs to, at the highest level, Reason. The Cave Allegory is how he conveys the Theory. In it, you can imagine people that have always lived in a cave. They are bound by shackles or something like a medieval stockade and have never seen the outside world, only images produced by people behind them. These people, controlling the prisoner's perceptions of the world, use a fire to create shadow puppets on the wall. Miraculously, one day, a person escapes and follows the sunlight to an exit and experiences the real world. The sunlight in the crack of the door is the giveaway in the video. Likewise, if I'm not mistaken, when the awakened person goes back to free the others, they are unconvinced and uninterested, mistakenly thinking that he is a crazy person and choose to go on believing their version of reality. In a time of misinformation, memes, trolls, bots, and the Right-Wing Echo Chamber in general, the Cave Allegory is foundational in our trying to understand the world around us. The main take away for me is this: "Why do I believe what I believe?" and "Did I come to these conclusions myself, rationally, or by people trying to control my thoughts?"

As someone that suffers with depression this song resonates with me. "You were never an island." I'm a complete introvert with depression desperately searching for a quick high to kill the depression temporarily. "Dopamine on dopamine" the dopamine high wears off revealing a blacked out world so I dig deeper to find that next high while ignoring the colorful, natural, beauty of the world around me and the people in it. "Lift all higher" talking can truly help one escape the suffocating grasp of depression.

The song isn't criticizing technology or phone use in general, so you can all stop with the self-deprecating commentary about how we're all just ironic, tragic hypocrites for using these devices to view this. They're addressing obsessive, compulsory behavior and being a kind of slave to this pacifying, though ultimately unfulfilling kind of escapism that so many people unfortunately use these devices for. There's obviously plenty of potential to actually utilize them to network insightful content, hence a group of artists / musicians creating this and using this platform to share it with the world.

I cannot help but cry with this song and imagery at this moment. The facility is ever more becoming a blatant reality as everyone around me gets fed and conditioned by all of this media, pushing people away....dividing them, when we need to reject these narratives and actually work together, not against each other. The worst part is i feel powerless to stop this, and friends and family are ever more becoming enemies not only to each other, but also to me. I stand in the middle and watch our history be erased, art being destroyed/neutered, no such thing as a joke anymore unless it is the right joke and checks all boxes. She was in the circle and realized she was only another link in the same chain. The unbreaking endless cycle of monotonous thought. She broke free. She saw the truth. The lighter was a torch for humanity. A beacon of hope that there is more. This band is not just music. It’s true art. Maynard and all that have been a part of his works are artists. This beautiful work and all albums from APC will be cherished decades from now. I’m glad I was alive to personally buy every album. I’ve healed that much more because of each one.

Hence "we've" not "you've" we have all become addicted not knowing the beauty of the world around us ..we need to interact with eachother then using social media to do so.. Nowdays we are buried in our phones to know everything which could be misleading..we've all become disillusioned..and don't even know it..

Been a fan of APC, TOOL & since the early 90’s when I first heard em. But THIS entire album has moved me beyond any other work Maynard has done. It’s like he touches my soul. Sounds crazy I know but fuck ! It’s APC best album yet IMO. Don’t get me wrong i absolutely love all their other work it’s just maybe with age I can appreciate it more. Don’t know , don’t care. It says something different to me every time I listen. Eat a couple caps , put the ear pods in turn this one and close my eyes. Takes all my pains away!
