BEAT SURRENDER
---------------------------------------
“In 2008 for the first time in the history of mankind there will be more people living in cities than there are left behind in the countryside. By 2050 a staggering 75% of the world’s population will live in cities.
Is the human race keeping up with the relentless pace of change or are we all becoming lost city folk, searching for soul and direction in the maze-like canyons of our new concrete world?”
Earlier this year the band released ‘Everything Will Be Alright’ a Limited Edition 7”. The single, which enjoyed key specialist play lead to City Reverb being booked up all summer at festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Green Man Festival and Camp Bestival which they’ve been transfixing every audience they play to ever since the hit the road.
‘City of Lights’, City Reverb’s evocative debut single was released on September 8th, 2008. The band selected such luminaries as the cosmic Prins Thomas and the subterranean tastemeister Trevor Loveys along with Reverso 68 , Dr. Strangelove , Larry Fives (Inland Knights) and Beards Of Paradise to bring their vibes to the remixes – watch this space for more details.

WHOA!
The lyrics of City Reverb's song "Everything will be alright" have a few different sections with distinct themes. The first section seems to be focused on expressing the singer's confidence and self-assuredness. He's comparing himself to Black John Gotti, a powerful and influential mob boss from the 80s, and saying that he's a star. There are a few references to specific locations and people, like CCM which might stand for a place or group, and RA which could stand for Royal Academy or something similar. The second section starts by asking someone not to turn up the heat, which could refer to someone trying to create problems for him or raising the stakes in some way. He's full of propane, which could be a metaphor for his readiness to explode or his energy level. He repeats that he should have been in the game, meaning that he should have success and power in the music industry or some other area of life. There's a reference to his neighborhood including people who are into criminal activity but also his mom who cooks, showing that he comes from a varied background. The third section talks more about his desires for material success, wanting a Panamera, a type of Porsche, and mentioning his taste in women. He contrasts true love with new love, and repeats that everything is his.
Overall, the song seems to be an assertion of the singer's success and power, as well as expressing some of his desires and background. The references to specific places and people might not be immediately clear, and the language is very informal and includes some profanity.

it would be a beautiful song without that fucking "I love you" in the chorus that ruins the song.it sounds like a grandma speaking out of sync.
