This must be the thousandth time I've come back to watch this video and I just wanted to say, to everyone who is part of this channel and makes this glorious music, thank you so so much. I was baptized and raised Catholic, but my family stopped going to church when I was around 11 or 12. I'm not sure why we stopped going, but all I know is that most of my family, especially my siblings, are all atheists now. I'm 19 now, and in those 7 or 8 years I lost basically all my faith and had been calling myself an atheist too, although looking back I guess I always had a little part of me that still held onto my faith. But then I discovered your channel, and listening to this song in particular, along with Lux Vitae, it just stirred something in my mind that pushed me to try and reconnect with God and with my Catholic upbringing. I started praying the rosary again a few weeks ago, I've been trying to relearn the things I learned in Bible study that I've forgotten, and I'm talking with the Catholic church on my college campus to see if there's a way I can do my Confirmation and begin attending Mass again. It's been hard, I've been holding in a lot of guilt since I haven't been to Mass or confession in at least 7 years, but every time I feel down I come listen to this music and it lifts my spirits immeasurably. So again, thank you so so much for sharing your talents with the world. It helps more than you could ever imagine. May God bless you all, for all the hard work you put into this channel.

@@IIBloodXLustII They are very similar, but there are enough small differences that we consider separate faiths. At least how I've been brought up 🤔. One that comes to mind is that in the Christian faith I grew up in is that we do not treat the Virgin Mary as a holy figure, she's in the scriptures we learn but not someone we pray too. Another is we don't "believe" (for lack of a better word) in the Pope, nor that humans hold the power nor divine right to perform exorcisms. I'm sure there are more differences but those are the ones that ce to mind, sadly I'm not an expert on all the diverging beliefs between what I've been raised to consider as two different faiths.

It comes to my mind to make a weighted Holy Rosary when listening to this beautiful, epic hymn. One beed should be 100kg and should be dead lifted while praying Hail Mary and this GEM is blowing from the speakers and while the weighted beed is pushed back down you can almost sense demons fleeing. I am converting to Catholicism and while i do enjoy Gregorian chant it's just.....sometimes it's not what I'm in the mood for but I just long for something - anything - Catholic. This is honestly really good. I hadn't expected it when I looked at it initially but man, this is really good. This is something I'd expect to find in a movie adaptation or a miniseries about the Holy Roman Empire or the Byzantine Empire.

Can't wait to hear more, and please do more original stuff as well. There's only so much that can be done after Misty Mountains and the rest of Tolkien's songs. Just hearing you guys sing is amazing.

I love the way your song begins as a traditional Catholic chant and then unravels so passionately into something entirely new and original. It's really very good and loud praise to our God. I feel like we are really going through the roof to have our prayers heard , and that is all fine. I see a very peaceful crusade rising; probably worth mentioning Peaceful, since there's been bloodshed in the past over the right way of worshiping our Lord, all the while Jesus saying that it's exactly what He wants to avoid. It is fascinating to see that new lithurgic texts and songs are still composed these days, and even in that elderly fashion that feels truly like talking to a god. Im a little late to this party, (7 years) but a lot of commenters are talking about this song reconnecting them with their faith and for me as an agnostic its incredible to see so many stories and people united under the banners of music and faith.
