Falcão is the daughter of filmmaker João Falcão and screenwriter and writer Adriana Falcão. She has two sisters, being Tatiana (from her mother's first marriage) and Isabel, her younger sister from the union of her parents. She was born in Recife, where she lived until she was 4 years old before moving to São Paulo. At age 6, Clarice moved to Rio de Janeiro, where she lives to this day. Clarice lived with her boyfriend, also actor and comedian Gregório Duvivier. The couple had been together since 2009, the year in which the two were backstage for the first time in the play Confessões de Teenager. On November 26, 2014, the couple announced their separation. Currently, the singer is dating the presenter Guilherme Guedes.
Clarice identifies as a feminist and recently brought the cause to her musical work, featuring in most of the lyrics of her second album, Problema Meu. "Being a feminist is necessary. It's just not going to be when everything is the same, we don't earn less, abortion is legalized, but I'm distressed to take on a space from people who know more because they studied and lived longer. I find it difficult to occupy a place of icon," said the singer to Diário de Pernambuco. Falcão also declared herself an atheist after a controversy with a video starring her for Porta dos Fundos.

São quatro, ou cinco, ou seis, ou mais
Eu sei demais
Que 'tá demais
Eu chego com um violão
Você só 'tá querendo paz
Você desvia pra cozinha
Hoje eu falei
Pra mim
Jurei até
Que essa não seria pra você
E agora é
Hoje eu falei
Pra mim
Jurei até
Que essa não seria pra você
Se juntar cada verso meu
E comparar
Vai dar pra ver
Tem mais você que nota dó
Eu vou ter que me controlar
Se um dia eu quero enriquecer
Quem vai comprar esse CD
Sobre uma pessoa só?
Hoje eu falei
Pra mim
Jurei até
Que essa não seria pra você
E agora é
Hoje eu falei
Pra mim
Jurei até
Que essa não seria pra você
Se juntar cada verso meu
E comparar
Vai dar pra ver
Tem mais você que nota dó
Eu vou ter que me controlar
Se um dia eu quero enriquecer
Quem vai comprar esse CD
Sobre uma pessoa só?
Hoje eu falei
Pra mim
Jurei até
Que essa não seria pra você
E agora é
Hoje eu falei
Pra mim
Jurei até
Que essa não seria pra você
In the song "Monomania" by Clarice Falcão, the singer is expressing her frustration with herself for constantly writing songs about one specific person. She acknowledges that she has already written four, five, or even six songs about this person and knows that it's becoming excessive. Despite her awareness, she still finds herself playing her guitar and singing even as the other person tries to avoid her in the kitchen.
The song's chorus includes a repetition of the singer trying to convince herself that this particular song is not about the person she's been writing about, and then immediately admitting that it is. She's grappling with the fact that she can't seem to stop writing about this person, even though she knows that it's not healthy for her or for her creative output. The last lines of the song are particularly poignant, as she realizes that she'll have to control herself if she ever wants to be able to create something that isn't entirely focused on this one person.
Overall, "Monomania" is a relatable but sobering look at the creative process and how obsessive love can affect one's art. It speaks to the struggle of trying to move on from a person or a situation while also acknowledging how much of an impact they've had on one's life and work.

I wrote you many songs
There are four,or five,or six or more
I know very well that
It is too much
I come with the guitar
The only thing you want is peace
You go to the kitchen
And I go singing behind (you)
Chorus:
Today I've said to myself
I've even promised (to myself)
That this one (the song) wouldn't be for you
But now it is
If every verse is united
And comparing it is possible to see
You are (in my song) more times than
the musical note C
I'll have to control myself
If I want to be rich
Who will buy this CD
about one single person?
That's it. The song repeats itself ^^; I haven't translated exacly the way it is, but I think you'll understand. I hope it helps :)
