In addition to the release of Trial & Error, 2003 and 2004 were busy and evolutionary years for Classified. With the continuous support of VideoFACT, he was able to release two additional music videos for the singles "Just the Way It Is" and "Unexpected". Classified also continued to master his production skills and joined forces with some of Canada's most prominent emcees, including Choclair and Maestro Fresh Wes. He also teamed up with Shady Records recording artist, Royce Da 5'9" and opened for Ludacris, Snoop dogg, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Nelly, MC Grizzly, Captain Capota, Nas, The Black Eyed Peas and Black Moon.
Classified's tenth album, Boy-Cott-In the Industry, was a high point in his career. The album includes guest appearances by Choclair, Royce Da 5'9", Jay Bizzy, J-Bru, A-Wall, Spesh K, and Mic Boyd (Classified's younger brother and fellow MC). He has said he enjoys doing music with other people: "It keeps things exciting and there are tons of talented people in Halifax so you make connections 'cause it's not a huge scene." The album reached #46 on SoundScan's Canadian R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart. The singles "The Maritimes", "5th Element", "No Mistakes", and "Find Out", which is the lead single of his 11th studio album, Hitch Hikin' Music, were all Top 20 hits on MuchMusic and MTV Canada that year. The music video for "No Mistakes" won him an MMVA for MuchVibe Best Rap Video. Boy-Cott-In the Industry also earned Classified a Juno Award nomination for Rap Recording of the Year in 2006.
Riding high off of Boy-Cott-In the Industry, Classified released his eleventh album Hitch Hikin' Music. Produced like previous albums by Classified himself, it is arguably some of Classified's finest work. On "Fall From Paradise", Classified reflects on the difficulty of staying fresh and on top. In the hip-hop meets classic rock song "All About U", featuring singer Chad Hatcher, Classified shows the extent of his growth from his early releases. In "Hip Hop Star", he eschews the current bling-bling culture of popular hip hop to remind people that life is not about trying to impress others. The rest of the album includes guest appearances by Jay Bizzy, Mic Boyd, Jordan Croucher, Preacher K, White Mic and more. Four singles have been released off the album: "Find Out" (which won the 2007 East Coast Music Award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Single), "Feelin' Fine Remix", "All About U", and "Hard to Be Hip Hop". Hitch Hikin' Music also received a Juno Award nomination for Rap Recording of the Year in 2007.
Classified enlisted the help of fellow Nova Scotia native Joel Roy to beatbox during some of his songs. The actual singles that Roy beatboxed for are unknown but it is believed that he can be heard in the single "The Maritimes".
In early 2009, the hit single "Anybody Listening" brought Classified to mainstream success as it peaked at #52 on the Canadian Hot 100 and the music video received heavy rotation on MuchMusic. Classified's thirteenth studio album, Self Explanatory received highly positive reviews from the critics and debuted on the Canadian Albums Chart at #25 making it Classified's first album on that chart. At the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards on May 21, 2009, Classified won the MuchVibe "Best Hip-Hop Video of the Year" award for "Anybody Listening" directed by Harv Glazer and produced by Robert Wilson of TwoThreeFiveFilms. Off Self Explanatory, Classified would enjoy more mainstream success in early 2010 with another hit single, "Oh...Canada" peaking at #14 on the Canadian Hot 100 and was certified platinum in digital downloads by the CRIA. Also in early 2010, Classified received three Juno Award nominations, which was for Rap Recording of the Year, Single of the Year, and Video of the Year. In early 2011, "Oh...Canada" received a Juno nomination for "Single of the Year".
On March 22, 2011, Classified released his fourteenth album, though it was only his second major studio album, Handshakes and Middle Fingers. The first single off the album, "That Ain't Classy" reached #45 on the Canadian Hot 100. The album debuted at #7 on the Canadian Albums Chart, making it his highest charting album to date.

Yea
Let me talk to the women for a second
You see i know what i got and i know it dont get much better than that
But at the same time some times I see these girls and im like damn...you know?
Back in the day they never payed me much attention
But i guess what they say is true
When your taken your alot more tempting
(VERSE 1)
Yea, i like a girl when she smilin but some how it make me frown mentally it kinda break me down
See I always keep a real talk thats how i shake my sound.
So when my wife hear the track she might hate me now
This aint what u used to its a sure rabuddle
Its a scoreless settle made me more than trouble
As a kid girls tole me i was bored and level now they feelin and tellin me im a gorgeous fellow
WOW I appreciate that , thank you very much you look really good too but I aint supposed to touch
I told you before class aint this appetite
Buts its a fact in life
Gotta keep a happy wife
And i aint perfect, nope, there aint a man who is
Its just sometimes I think i need the chance to live
And my girl isnt stupid, she knows whats up
With these hoes and sluts, and all my shows and stuff dancin on the dance floor tryin to show their stuff another girl front row trin to hold my nuts
But im a man so i glance and i soak it up
But if I take it any further tho i know im f***ed
(CHORUS)
Its like damn
You know what I mean
I see these girls on the street like damn
Goin to the mall right i saw a girl on the bus like damn
On tour i saw these girls on the road like damn
I cant do a damn thing i gotta look fast cause im lookin at my ring
Yea huh it feels good
Most the time things feel good you aint supposed to do
Like i said I aint perfect
But im tryin to be hah yeaa yea
(VERSE 2)
Now i dont usually write tracks about dealin wit chicks
Exept wats real and thats as real as it gets
I just write about life and how Im dealin with it
I dont decide on what I spit on or how appealin it is..nope
I aint the guy with the girl have naked in his video tryin to give a half ass titty show
Dont need a dick tease clothed on my TV
I watched a mass on the internet to releave me
I love a girl with some curves and shape
Lookin innocent but freakin when we're burnin J
I see girls on the street and I wonder what if?
Then I loose all control and think of my dick
Think about sexin sweatin switchin positions
Then I think about my giel and if we switched positions and if she was wearin my shoes and had the same chance
I know i couldnt take it sein her touchin another man
I gotta keep the truth and between and me and you made a promise to eachother and Im tryin to see it true girl
Its hard tho shit i cant lie cause alot of beautiful women are catchin my eye like damn..
(CHORUS)
I see this girl at the beach like damn
When we go to the club right Id see these girls and im like damn
I see these girls all the time like damn
I cant do a damn thing
I gotta look fast cause im starin at my ring yea hah theres alot of beautiful women around
I can peak right?
(OUTRO)
You know im tryin to keep things as real as possible my girl
As much as i see these days
I just hope she understands me
But then again shes the only girl that understands me
In the song "See the Truth," Classified talks to women about the temptation faced by men who are in relationships. He acknowledges that he has a good thing going with his wife, but sometimes he finds himself attracted to other girls he sees around him. He recognizes that the attention he gets from girls has changed because he is taken, and this makes him more tempting. However, he reminds himself that he must keep his wife happy and maintain fidelity in his marriage, even though he admits that it's hard when he sees beautiful women around him all the time.
Through this song, Classified expresses an idea that many people can relate to - the feeling of being drawn towards something that they know they shouldn't do. He admits that he's not perfect and that he is tempted to stray from his marriage at times, but he ultimately chooses to stay loyal to his wife. He paints a picture of the struggle that many men face in their relationships and offers a glimpse into his own experiences with temptation and commitment.
One interesting fact about "See the Truth" is that it was released in 2006 as a single from Classified's album Hitch Hikin' Music. The song didn't garner much mainstream attention, but it became a popular track among fans of the Canadian rapper. Another interesting fact is that the sample used in the chorus of the song comes from the 1989 hit "Buffalo Stance" by Neneh Cherry. This sample was met with critical acclaim and was noted for its smooth, catchy sound.
