I'm learning this right now :) and yes I am still struggling with the polyrhythm but I still won't give up because this is my favorite piece.

A lot of you have been asking for more Debussy, so here is Arabesque No. 1! I want to thank everyone for their support recently, we just hit 1,000,000 channel views and are approaching 20k subs. Next week is another pop cover, an arrangement of Post Malone's 'I Fall Apart', what would you like to hear me perform?

In my opinion Debussy is the greatest composer of his time. Every piece is so wonderful and calming in its way

Fun fact @Franz Liszt paved the way for impressionistic music and the era that would follow his own in his later years of life. From his early days of merging gypsy and classical (beethoven influenced his classical taste) making Europeans go crazy with that lisztomania, into the times he knew his death was approaching and in mind of such became more loose and flowing with his compositions. Franz was one of the most important composers and performers for Debussy's Era and I think that's super rad

At the time people didn't think he was good since he didn't use the traditional western music scale the way others did, while most composers always had a conclusion of some sort, debussy pieces often did not, making them sound unfinished and giving us dreamy emotions and hearing it as ethereal
