When you hit that low E there's something spectacular that manifests in my mind, like a sort of wondering amazement, and then dissipates as the song continues. I want that feeling like nothing else. I wish I knew what it is. Debussy was truly a remarkable composer.

listen to rachmaninov op 32 no 5. i get the exact same feeling when the single broken chord is played in the left hand. you’ll know it when you hear it

Delightful as always! Really hoping to hear more Debussy from you. I believe Passepied and Golliwogg's Cakewalk would suit your style of playing very well. However the one I would wish for the most has to be Pagodes. Heard it a couple of times before, but just recently fell completely in love with it. An amazingly haunting piece with it's oriental atmosphere, inspired by the Indonesian Gamelan music Debussy had heard at the Paris Universal Exposition in 1889. Thank you for the great work and of course I wish you and your family a happy new year!

Great intepretation :)
Considering you post new pieces so often, how do you approach a new piece? When do you start picking up on speed etc?

Probably my third favorite by Debussy!
The first is La Cathedral Engloutie,
Second, Reflections in the Water, (Don't remember the French name,)
Third, this.

Patuchito Gómez

Clair de lune

Saqlain Siddiqui

Reflets dan l'eau :)

Awesome interpretation!

Hi there, I was wondering if I could use your recording of the composition in a student film I made? I would, of course, give you attribution in the credits.
