Certainly one of the greatest compositions ever. Only Debussy could 'out color' the Russian composers.

@Peter Rowan ^ You're warping the context in which I was referencing color. I said nothing about the Russian predilection for all things French or about Rachmaninoff.

@Romin N the Russians at the time were all about colour! Their aristocracy were huge Francophiles, Rachmaninoff being the exception.
