The song Ternura by Claudia De Colombia is a beautiful ode to the power of love and gratitude for the person who brings that love into their life. The first verse begins with the singer expressing gratitude for the tenderness, warmth, and affection that her lover provides, which in turn has revived her heart. She thanks them for the happy moment they share, where they rock her gently with a kiss and teach her how to love.
In the second verse, the singer compares falling in love to a seagull sighing over the ocean and being caught in her lover's perfume and intimacy. She admits that she had resigned herself to a lonely journey until her lover appeared, erasing the pain and scars of the past. The bridge is a beautiful expression of how her love changed everything and awakens a fire in her lips, giving her dreams new life and hope.
Overall, the song is a celebration of the powerful transformative force of love and the gratitude that comes from having someone who can provide that love to you.
