Oh, I love you so
And that for me
Is all I need to know
I will wait for you
Till the sun fallsDown from the sky
What else can I do
I will wait for you
Meditating how sweet life will be
When you come back to me
I will wait for you
Meditating how sweet life will be
When you come back to me
Meditating how sweet life will be
When you come back to me
Come back to me, ha ha ha
The lyrics to Claudine Longet's song Meditation speak about love and the longing for the return of a loved one. The French verse opens with the declaration of love for someone, stating that it is all the singer needs to know. The singer then goes on to say that they will wait for their loved one until the sun falls down from the sky, suggesting an unwavering commitment to waiting. The singer expresses their helplessness in the situation, questioning what else they can do other than wait for their loved one's return.
The chorus repeats the sentiment of waiting and meditating on how sweet life will be when the loved one comes back. The use of the word 'meditating' adds a spiritual and introspective dimension to the lyrics, indicating that the longing for the loved one has become a meditation for the singer.
