Longet has never performed again after the criminal trial, and the Sabich family initiated civil proceedings to sue Longet. They also demanded that Claudine withdraw from public circulation her recording of "Bang Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down."
Small Talk

Kill the afternoon you know how dry the
Afternoons can be sometimes
You're lucky if you find someone to
Talk with you
Small talk it's been nice talking to ya
Walking with you too
You never know just who you're gonna meet
You know and even though they say
"Don't talk to strangers"
I'm awfully glad we had the
Chance to say hello
Small talk it's been nice talking to ya
Walking with you too
I know that you don't know me
And you know that I don't know you
So what else to do but small talk with you?
You never know just who you're gonna meet
You know and even though they say
"Don't talk to strangers"
I'm awfully glad we had the
Chance to say hello
Small talk it's been nice talking to ya
Walking with you too
Sunday passed and dressed to
Kill the afternoon
Sunday passed and dressed to
Sunday passed and dressed to
Kill the afternoon
Sunday passed and dressed to
Kill the afternoon
