Dear Larry,
I noted with interest that you mentioned WW II Army Chief of Staff, General George C. Marshall.
I think that he's a great contrast in comparison to the current, "nasty crew", running our government into, literally, the ground.
A prime example of the difference between them, which you probably know, but since others may not, I will state it here.
After the Second World War, General Marshall was offered, by a publisher, to write a book.
But, ..he refused !
When, they asked him, "Why, we're offering you 1 Million dollars ?"
His answer, ..."I'm not interested in a Million dollars !!"
NOW, .. that's a man with a CONSCIENCE and with CHARACTER !!!

Many of the journalists/ writers very well try to present good information, but it's the editors that "allow" the narrative to reflect what is not conflicting with paying advertisers and "special interest groups/funders" dictate.
Such as like media says," the New York Times says, ...."
A fictional entity called the NYT...
You tell me, how does a fiction say anything?
See we have been trained to mis identify fictions for non-fiction. And we don't even realize we should be identifying the "real" source of the narrative.
This is all because the funders hide and the media dodges responsibility.

It would be wonderful to introduce us to some other intellectual podcasters, even the ones from other platforms.... Maybe do a show that showcases other intelligent and respectful people, the more you know, the better prepared. Thank You for All you do ~

I LOVE THE IDEA OF CITIZEN JOURNALISM, WHEN YOU FIND THE PERSON WHO IS NOT WORRIED ABOUT REPUTATIONS OR CANT BE BOUGHT. AND ALSO SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT REPORT OFF OF CLICK BAIT AND THEN REPORT SOMETHING ELSE..LOVE IT,IT IS SO NEEDED TO GET TO THE TRUTH OF WHAT IS GOING ON. The Maui incident completely turned me against the government. How dare they send those people $700 while they send billions to other countries. The government could have rebuilt all of their homes, instead they are stealing their land like vultures.
