Anyone who thinks Mass Effect 3 sucks is wrong. Regardless of the ending, I cried more in ME3 than any other media. I cried when Mordin sacrificed himself to correct the Genophage and save the Krogan, when Thane died with his wish for me, when Legion said "Keelah se'lai" and sacrificed himself to give all Geth life and bring peace to the Quarians and Geth. I cried here when Anderson said "I'm proud of you." The last words of this great father figure. And finally, I cried when I saw the ending, because regardless if it was disappointing, it meant that my adventure had ended, there were no more stories to be told for Shepard.

Mass Effect as a whole is an emotional masterpiece. Nothing before it has affected me so emotionally, and nothing since. I can't help but restart a new campaign, right at the start of ME1, after the ending of Mass Effect 3, because I need to see those people I lost in ME3 again. In the end, you care about the characters in the game as much as people in real life. Legion, Mordin, Thane, Anderson, all felt like real friends that you lost. And that is a powerful feeling.

+Darryl Philbrick I had the same experience, decided to play the entire trilogy again with all dlc's, took me 100 hours, mass effect 3 was very emotional for me and I also cried at every death scene, you just fall in love with the characters, especially Liara for me, who I romanced in 1, romanced in the shadow broker DLC in 2, and in 3, and people say bioware does the 3x conversation = romance, that's not true, you felt their bond growing, they were actual partners and lovers, it was amazing, these games are masterpieces and I will recommend them to everyone I will ever meet, I love Mass Effect, I think its time for another playthrough as femshep this time.

Honestly, I thought the game was gonna end right here and it should have. You finally defeat the Reapers, united a Galaxy as one and even though there were heavy casualties, you still won. Anderson's last thoughts, his last visions and his last memories, are of relief. After all the sacrifices, after all the pain, it was worth something in the end.

Cut to the ending song of Mass Effect 1 during the credits. That's a legendary way to end a series.

As wonderful as the strings are throughout the majority of the song, the piano in the last few seconds is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly timed with the video to bring down the intensity of the music as Anderson takes his last breath. This track adds a great deal of intensity to a scene that was already sad and it completes what in my mind is one of the saddest moments of the series; the death of the man who stood by you and supported you every step of your journey.

This is probably one of the most emotional songs to be played in a video game. It was a damn good moment to see Shepard and Anderson sitting together, the best moment ever. I've never felt any more proud to play this game and experience that moment.

Don't know about you guys, but I think this is the most touching OST of the entire game... Especially the last bit with just the piano, gives me chills everytime. I think this song serves as a juxtapose, the peace and serenity of this one minute song, to the chaos that goes on in the rest of the game. Truly touching.

And as its not such good ME like trilogy, I'd like to see more games within this universe. It's just too epic to leave it. I've felt proud of what Shepard accomplishments for a minute only for the catalyst to came along and give one huge slap straight across the face. I still have hopes they'll deliver what they promised us in the first place but the overall experience in this game was very emotional. There's one thing no one can't deny: the music in this game is absolutely fabulous.

This part of the game brings tears to my eyes. Anderson as a character is so miraculously heart felt, and has become my favorite character. (that isn't Shepard of course) When he says "I'm proud of you" that gets me every time. It really irks me that he dies not matter what but by far a death in the game that really made me feel like I was there. If this patch really clears up the endings this will go down as one of the greatest games of all time. But I pretend it never happened and I'm good.

I also shed my share of tears when Anderson died. He was so supportive of Shepard... He was a great man. I won't forget the scene where he risked his life to get me back into the sky again when Normandy was grounded in ME1. He was like a father to Shepard.

I went out and bought the entire trilogy (I'd only played Mass Effect 2 before and I lost my saves) to ensure I would be able to experience everything from the very beginning and I am so glad I did: getting to know the characters and universe from the start, developing relationships and then saying the final goodbyes in this game was extremely moving for me.

First time I watched Anderson, who I had struggled through fight after fight, negotiation and jokes, and -everything- of all three games... First time I watched him go down, the music in the background, and just his final words... It was one of the most touching moments in my history as a gamer. If I were to say one thing to BioWare about Anderson's death, it'd be 'You did good, son... You did good...' May he rest in peace, the epic bastard.

This was the most touching moment to me in the game, the one person who was always there for you, never doubted you for a second, always had your back, helped you become a Spectre, gave you the Normandy, helped you escape to Ilos, brokered a peace between you and the Council, helped you escape Earth, and was there until the bloody end. Whether or not the ending is indoctrination or not, Bioware sure as hell got this part right. We salute you Admiral David Anderson.

When I listen to this track, I remember what a sad life Shepard has lived. Growing up on the streets, losing his team on Akuze, Kaiden/ Ashley on Virmire, Mordin, Legion and most importantly - his mentor, his... dad.. Admiral Anderson. All of his life was a long chain of sorrow and loneliness. He gave his life for the galaxy - that up to that moment questioned his every move, accepting him as the enemy. But he continued, he saved those who wanted his head. Because he's commander Shepard.

Listening to the music a few weeks after finishing the game drives home the point that it is the journey that counts, not the destination. So many people are focused on the fricken ending that they've lost sight of what made this such a great game to experience...the journey.

Bervity is the soul of wit. I like the game version of this scene a lot more than the long one. He doesn't need to spell out the themes of his and Shepard's characters, or their relationship. It's so much more powerful if he just says two short lines and Shepard takes a moment before speaking. In that short moment of silence they tell you much more than they would have in the longer scene.

This game, was amazing. Even the ending, I know it's full of plotholes. But it was the ending of Mass Effect. ANd I love Mass Effect. Even if the last 10 minutes are odd. I still love this series, from the bottom of my heart. I've never felt so emotional over a game. The death of Legion, that was my favourite crewmember. I can't explain how deep that moment was. I love how Legion was just a machine, made to obey orders. And in the end, _he_ was just like a human, with a soul. Mass Effect <3

This trilogy put me through the emotional roller coaster. My happy ending was curing the genophage for my bfffff Urdnot Wrex 3. Was really upset with the passing of Mordin, Legion, AND Thane. The Illusive man did what Saren did to himself years back (aside from that one battle of course)... But once I saw Anderson take his last breath, I rage quit and didn't turn on my Xbox or Ps3 for a week. The game ended here for me personally because I couldn't handle it at the time. Great game!

I was already at the edge when Anderson died. but seeing Raina (my femshep) sacrifice her life for peace...and the build up from seeing Mordin, Legion, and Thane die, i couldnt hold it in any longer. The ending may be the most devastating in ANY game i've played but i have to commend Bioware for at least this one thing: You guys did well in drawing out the emotion in me. And i do not tear up easy...so....Bravo Bioware....Bravo...

Giod this was a sad moment in ME3, I'm one of the lovers of the ending, and I found the entire game as perfect as the 2 previous... But that I had to go down that lane, with Anderson, was just so epic, a part of me wants a ME3 part 2, where all lives... But i really think, that with the death of so many awesome team members, it will touch many people and make the ending right, cause we all know, that this couldn't end a 100% good...
