Joshua Renton (vocals/guitar), Luke Joyce (bass) and Matt Coello (drums/vocals) bring together a wide range of influences to form an energetic pop-rock sound laced with country rhythms.
Though native to the live music scene in Brighton, Clockworks have recently made a name for themselves as a hard working live act delivering tight (and impressively popular) performances to a consistently growing base of eager new fans in France & Corsica.
Whilst Corsica is not a place that’s frequently listed on touring artists’ schedules, the band have greatly enjoyed having their eyes opened to a market that’s hungry for their authentic British sound. The band’s strong work ethic has already earned them a feature in the official Tour De France 2013 Corsica promo video.
With their rigorous approach to songwriting and sharp focus on melody, they are unusual for not trying to sell you an artificial image or manufactured sound; they are proud of just being who they are.
