BEG
Clouds Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Come to my castle
Come to my apartment
Here in my domain
Here on my red carpet

Every time the same
Doesn't ever change
I don't want a T.D.U.

Call me high-fashioned
Dress me up in furs
Call me pre-(?)
Let me have your spurs

This dog will give bone
Joy to drive you home
Through the puddle and the lane

Kneel down and beg

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to the song "Beg" by Clouds are about a dominant and controlling person who wants their partner to submit to them completely. The first two lines suggest that the singer wants their partner to come to their home and be in their space. The next line about the red carpet implies that the singer wants to treat their partner like royalty but with conditions - the partner must surrender to their control. The next lines suggest that things happen the same way every time and that the singer doesn't want to change that. The line "I don't want a T.D.U." implies that the singer doesn't want to be challenged or undermined in any way.

The next few lines suggest that the singer wants to be treated in a very specific way, and that they want their partner to see them as a classy, fashionable person. The line "let me have your spurs" is a metaphor for the singer wanting to be in control, as spurs are typically used to control a horse. The line "this dog will give bone" suggests that the singer is willing to please and provide for their partner, but still wants to be dominant. The last line "kneel down and beg" is a clear demonstration of the singer's desire to be in control and to have their partner submit to them completely.

Overall, the song "Beg" is about power dynamics in a relationship, with the singer wanting to be dominant and in control of their partner. The lyrics suggest that the singer wants their partner to submit to them completely, and that they are willing to provide for them as long as they get what they want.

Clouds are heavy indeed. It was mentioned in the Qur'an 1450 years ago.

Quran 13:12
It is He who shows you the lightening, causing fear and hope. And He produces the heavy clouds.

(I was mostly looking for the size of clouds which was answered) but it means it's not rare you see a cloud as big as a huge mountain, feels like I'm watching mountains floating around

That's funny that they weight the clouds in elephants, in pigeons, but not in Kg which is the unit that most of the world uses
