Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
Frosty was an energetic snowman who was always delighted.

With a corn cob pipe and a button nose
He had interesting features like a pipe and button for the face.

And eyes made out of coal
His visual organs were constructed using coal.

Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say
Some people believe that society constructed Frosty as a fable.

He was made of snow, but the children know
Frosty's construction consisted of icy flakes, but the children believed otherwise.

That he came to life one day
One day, Frosty transformed from an inanimate object to an animated snowman.

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found
Perhaps, the discovered hat contained magical properties that caused Frosty's animation.

For when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around
Once the hat was placed on his head, he became animated, energetic, and started to move his body around.

Frosty the snowman was as live as he could be
Frosty was animate and alive as much as it was possible for him to be.

And the children say he could laugh and play
The kids believed that Frosty had the ability to engage in recreational activities and be joyous.

Just the same as you and me
Frosty was merely like every kid who plays and giggles.

Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day
Frosty was aware that the scorching sun could melt him that day.

So he said 'Let's run and have some fun, now
Frosty proposed that they took advantage of the day by being active and having fun.

Before I melt away.'
Frosty was aware of his existence as an object and that sunlight would inevitably cause him to disappear.

Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand
Frosty walked towards the town holding a broomstick.

Running here and there all around the square
He moved speedily and energetically throughout the town's square.

Saying, 'Catch me if you can!'
Frosty was playful, and he challenged people to try and catch him.

He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic stop
Frosty showed people what he could do by walking them all through the town to the traffic stop.

He only paused a moment when he heard them holler 'Stop!'
The people of the village were startled by Frosty's movements, and they called out to him to stop.

Frosty the snowman had to hurry on his way
Frosty was on the move and had to continue on his journey.

But he waved goodbye saying, 'Don't you cry
Frosty bid farewell to the people and advised them not to mourn his departure.

I'll be back again, someday.'
Frosty predicted that he would return to the town some other day.
