They continued to make more music and in 2005 they switched label to the Swedish
"Memento Materia" who had released many great artists through out the years.
And the work on "Departure" began. This time the sound had evolved even more and matured since "Storm" and when it was released it got great reviews and the fan base grew even bigger.
Then Code 64 started to work on their third album and it seemed harder than they first believed.
Through all the years the taste and influences has changed for each member and it was hard to
get along musically and when Henrik Piehl left the band to focus on his other projects Code 64
went into carbonation. Slowly drifting until late summer 2008 when through a lucky shot
Bjørn Marius Borg joined Code 64 as the new vocalist and the work for the new album "Trialogue" began. Then in 2010 they signed over to Progress Production and a few months later they released their first single "Stasis" from "Trialogue".
And in September 2010 they released the new album and both it and the singles received great reviews and in early February 2011 they received the award for best Synth of the year at the Manifest Awards in Stockholm. Bjorn and Hasse also run a psytrance side project Protostar .
In the summer of 2013 it was announced on the bands Facebook page that they would be splitting up with two members continuing on under a new project name.

In an empty house
Seeing things through saddened eyes
Now that I am
A wreckage more or less
Messed up big time
Couraged by loneliness
I've messed up my life
Couraged by loneliness
A wreckage more or less
I've messed up my life
Cosmonaut do you read me
(I have to know)
Is there anything we can do
(For you)
Cosmonaut can you hear us
We are still waiting for you
I am so
Fed up with your games
Just leave me alone
Now that I am
A wreckage more or less
Messed up big time
Couraged by loneliness
I've messed up my life
Spending my time
Couraged by loneliness
A wreckage more or less
I've messed up my life
Cosmonaut do you read me
(I have to know)
Is there anything we can do
(For you)
Cosmonaut can you hear us
We are still waiting for you
Code 64's "Echoes" is a somber, introspective song that speaks to feelings of loneliness, sadness, and regret. The opening lines set the tone for the rest of the song, as the singer describes spending their time in an empty house and seeing the world through "saddened eyes." The lyrics repeatedly reference a state of being a "wreckage" and having "messed up" one's life, suggesting that the singer is struggling with some significant personal issues.
One of the key themes that emerges in the song is the idea of loneliness, which is described as a source of both courage and pain. The repeated phrase "couraged by loneliness" suggests that the singer is finding a kind of inner strength despite their isolation, but the lyrics also acknowledge the toll that this loneliness has taken on their mental and emotional state. There is a sense of longing for connection and understanding that comes through in lines like "Cosmonaut do you read me" and "Cosmonaut can you hear us / We are still waiting for you," which seem to express a desire for some kind of response or recognition from the outside world.
Overall, "Echoes" is a poignant depiction of the struggles of the human experience, particularly those related to isolation, regret, and the search for meaning and connection. While the song's lyrics are introspective and somber, the music itself adds a layer of texture and complexity to the emotional landscape painted by the words. The instrumental backing combines electronic elements with soaring, echoing guitars, lending a sense of space and depth to the song that complements the searching, wistful tone of the vocals.
