They continued to make more music and in 2005 they switched label to the Swedish
"Memento Materia" who had released many great artists through out the years.
And the work on "Departure" began. This time the sound had evolved even more and matured since "Storm" and when it was released it got great reviews and the fan base grew even bigger.
Then Code 64 started to work on their third album and it seemed harder than they first believed.
Through all the years the taste and influences has changed for each member and it was hard to
get along musically and when Henrik Piehl left the band to focus on his other projects Code 64
went into carbonation. Slowly drifting until late summer 2008 when through a lucky shot
Bjørn Marius Borg joined Code 64 as the new vocalist and the work for the new album "Trialogue" began. Then in 2010 they signed over to Progress Production and a few months later they released their first single "Stasis" from "Trialogue".
And in September 2010 they released the new album and both it and the singles received great reviews and in early February 2011 they received the award for best Synth of the year at the Manifest Awards in Stockholm. Bjorn and Hasse also run a psytrance side project Protostar .
In the summer of 2013 it was announced on the bands Facebook page that they would be splitting up with two members continuing on under a new project name.
Stasis
Code 64 Lyrics

Reaching for the stars
What are we doing here
On tainted ground?
We need to be lifted up
To be swept away
To leave this place for good
(To see the change)
Down on this planet we call home
We are trapped in stasis
Down in this world we call our own
We are locked in stasis
Standing before you now
And I'm trying to explain
That we've grown too attached to the soil on which we stand
What if this isn't our true place?
What if we were made for more?
There is something out of place down here
They call it an illusion
I call it evolution
Would be a revolution if we left the earth behind
The lyrics to Code 64’s song Stasis speak to the desire to escape the confines of everyday life and reach for something larger. The first verse seems to question the purpose of our existence on earth, suggesting that we are on “tainted ground.” The chorus speaks to the feeling of being stuck in one place, unable to move forward, as though we are “trapped in stasis.”
The lyrics suggest that we need to be “lifted up” and “swept away” in order to leave this place behind for good. The second verse poses the idea that perhaps we were made for more than life on earth, and that something out of place exists here. The bridge of the song seems to suggest that perhaps our attachment to the earth is holding us back and that if we were to leave, it would be a “revolution.”
The overall message of the song is one of seeking something greater and breaking free from the constraints of the earth. It speaks to the human desire to reach for the stars and explore what lies beyond our own planet.
