Blaze
Colbie Caillat Lyrics

We board the sun light
We want moon raising our trade
We want silver and fire
'Cause every day that we spend over thinking
Makes me wanna spend the night over drinking
If these things are loosing
Then you're lost and gone wild
If the cops are all coming
We stay and not running
We'll be reaching like crazy
Fly with me baby
Like we only got tonight
It's gonna be the best night of our lives
If we're gonna go down in flames
Let's go out in blaze
Go out in the blaze
Go out in the blaze
We're dancing on tables
We're kicking off shoes
We're sick of the same 'ol
So we're singing like fools
Got the games and Jameson in the blue dream
Flipping cups, it's enough to this evening
You were breaking those tables
And we're bending those rules
If the cops are all coming
We stay and not running
We'll be reaching like crazy
Fly with me baby
Like we only got tonight
It's gonna be the best night of our lives
If we're gonna go down in flames
Let's go out in a blaze
Go out in the blaze
Go out in the blaze
Every night, every day
We light up the sky
Up in a blaze
Shine like the stars
Burn like a flame
No we're never going out
Every night, every day
We light up the sky
Up in the blaze
Shine like the stars
Burn like a flame
No we're never going out
If the cops are all coming
We stay and not running
We'll be reaching like crazy
Fly with me baby
Like we only got tonight
It's gonna be the best night of our lives
If we're gonna go down in flames
Let's go out in the blaze
Go out in the blaze
Go out in the blaze
Go out in the blaze
Go out in the blaze
The central message of "Blaze" by Colbie Caillat is the idea of living life to the fullest, taking risks, and having fun irrespective of the circumstances, consequences, or expectations. The song opens with a vivid description of boarding a night train and then transitioning to the daylight with the intention of wanting more from life: "We board the sun, we want the moon raising our trade, we want silver, and fire." This vivid imagery depicts the pursuit of wanting something bigger and better, something more thrilling than the mundane day-to-day life.
Throughout the lyrics, there is an emphasis on taking risks, living outside the lines, and enjoying every moment. The song encourages listeners to let go of their inhibitions, join in the fun, and blaze like a flame, "burn like a flame" and "shine like the stars" while living in the moment. The chorus repeats the idea of going out in a blaze, even if it means going down in flames, as long as they are enjoying the ride.
In summary, Colbie Caillat's "Blaze" is a fun, upbeat anthem that encourages listeners to enjoy every moment of life, take risks, let go of inhibitions, and live life to the fullest.

This song is not popular enough. She isn't popular enough! She's a FABULOUS singer, so powerful and no fault in and note! Her songs are brilliant and fresh but still original! You can't find this type of talent or singer or attitude anywhere. So few have this talent. She DESERVES more popularity! She hasn't changed for the media she still is herself😊

I'm glad there are still music like this and artists that continues to inspire people and not committing to drug addiction or sex. Songs about living life and not money, sex or butts.

Songs in 2011 got popular in 2013. If Colbie is underrated now, we aren't sure if she [her songs] will get seen in the future. ;) I also bought her album too..
@jimmypok
