Be sure to treat me nice
Merry Christmas baby
Be sure to treat me nice
I feel just like I'm living
Living in paradise
Now you see I feel real good tonight
I feel real good tonight
Got music on the radio
I feel like I wanna kiss you
Underneath the mistletoe
Now listen
Santa came down the chimney
Half past three
With lots and lots of presents
For my baby and me
Merry Christmas baby
You sure do treat me nice
And I feel just like I'm living
Living in paradise
Now Santa came down the chimney
Half past three
With lots and lots of presents
For my baby and me
Merry Christmas baby
You sure do treat me nice
And I feel just like I'm living
Living in paradise
Merry Christmas baby, oh yeah
I said Merry Christmas baby, yeah
Merry Christmas baby, oh
Merry Christmas baby, yeah
And it feels just like I'm living
Living in paradise
The song "Merry Christmas Baby" by Colbie Caillat featuring Brad Paisley is a cover of a classic Christmas song by Johnny Moore's Three Blazers. The lyrics talk about the joy and happiness of being with someone special during Christmas time. The opening lines "Merry Christmas baby, be sure to treat me nice" may refer to the expectation of receiving love and affection from a partner during the holiday season. The singer feels like they are living in paradise due to the warmth of the season and the presence of their loved one.
The second verse highlights the joy of listening to Christmas music on the radio and the desire to share a romantic moment under the mistletoe. The references to Santa coming down the chimney and bringing presents add to the festive spirit of the song.
Throughout the song, the singer expresses gratitude for their partner's kind treatment, suggesting that they are in a happy and loving relationship. The repeated line "And it feels just like I'm living in paradise" implies that the singer is grateful for the moments shared with their significant other during this special time of year.
Overall, "Merry Christmas Baby" is a delightful and romantic Christmas song that captures the festive spirit of the season and the joy of being with someone special.
