Bizarre
Cold Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Everyone to tell, I want to breathe the fumes,
Everyone got blessed, I still love you.
No one ever said I don't enjoy the shame,
No one ever said I don't enjoy the game.

Nothing ever changes here in my bizarre

Everyone to tell, I want to breathe the fumes,
Everyone got blessed, I still love you.
No one ever said I won't enjoy the shame,
No one ever said I won't enjoy the game.

Nothing ever changes here in my bizarre

I came (to) a world, it's farther ruled out.
No one believed God loved his children,
I'm all alone, no one forgives me
I've said too much, God loved his children.

Nothing ever changes here in my bizarre.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Cold's song Bizarre reflect a sense of detachment, isolation, and a love of the oddities in life. The repetition of "everyone to tell, I want to breathe the fumes" can be interpreted as a desire for connection, even if it means inhaling the toxic air around them. The lines "no one ever said I don't enjoy the shame, no one ever said I don't enjoy the game" suggest a willingness to participate in destructive behavior, indicating a fear of missing out.

The chorus of "nothing ever changes here in my bizarre" further emphasizes the sense of stagnation and sameness. The second verse introduces an element of religion, with the lyric "no one believed God loved his children." This could speak to a feeling of abandonment or disillusionment with higher powers. The lyrics "I'm all alone, no one forgives me, I've said too much, God loved his children" suggest regret, perhaps for speaking out against the norm and being punished for it.

Overall, the lyrics to Bizarre paint a picture of someone struggling to find their place in the world, craving connection but also embracing the strange and unconventional aspects of life.

WILD THINGS

good song, i had this on a c.d. about ten years ago and i had no idea who sang it because i had downloaded it off of napster (anyone remember napster?) and it had the artist listed as Staind and i knew it wasnt no damn staind so i just figured it was an unreleased track from some band and then i found it today by googling the lyrics.

@WILD THINGS I remembered partying with some girl ten years ago and this song was playing. The lyrics just popped into my head today and it took forever to track it down. I remember it also being saved on her player as Staind and we talked about how it definitely wasn't Staind.

WILD THINGS

@Derek Taylor wow very similar to my experience. That's awesome!

A friend had made me a copy of staind - break the cycle back in the day on a blank tape back in the day and he included this song on it though i could tell it def wasn’t staind but I bumped it regardless. A few years later i had heard stupid girl and absolutely loved that song, and here recently heard it come on the radio so it sparked an interest for me in Cold all of a sudden, and i listened to no one and the way he sings i was like hey that sounds like the same voice off that one song that was on that tape dude made for me that was supposed to be break the cycle, so i googled cold and looked up their albums and ended up finding this!! I’m so happy to know the name of the song and who sings it!! It just sparks even further interest in Cold for me too!! Damn they were fucking badass!!
