Craig Almquist writes the songs and Alex Smith drums on them. The other two dudes change from time to time but currently Peter Helmis is on bass and Chris Baglivo (Doc Bag) is on guitar.
The band formed in 2011 and started performing shows/Dionysian Rites in West Philly at the infamous Rathaus, which was dubbed “Satan’s dorm room” in the Philadelphia papers. The Rat was converted into fancy condos after two years of hard partying. Boo.
By 2012 the band had been supporting act for mewithoutYou, Free Energy, The Morning Benders, The Gay Blades, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr, + Vacationer. They recorded a Daytrotter Session and played a string of SXSW shows after camping (in a tent) in downtown Austin.
One time Andrew W.K. destroyed their drum set.
The band will be on the road in 2013, doing what bands do, playing live shows of material they have recorded. They will also def be eating pizza. Lots of pizza.

I said it's so your heart wouldn't break
Woho woh oh
All i need is time
Music plays in the night, it burns
We go out, you gotta wait your turn
wooh
Wait your turn in lineWooh!
We can make it better
C'mon c'mon
Let's get together
C'mon c'mon
We can make it better
C'mon c'mon let's get together
Last call mixed with last resorts
Thought we made it but we came up short
Woh oh woh oh
Let's go back in time
Your ship went sailing through the window pane
I said i loved you when i felt insane
Wooh
Why can't we just rewind?
Wooh!
We can make it better
C'mon c'mon
Let's get together
C'mon c'mon
We can make it better
C'mon c'mon
Let's get together
C'mon c'mon
We can make it better
C'mon c'mon
C'mon c'mon
We can make it better
C'mon c'mon
Let's get together
C'mon c'mon
Woh oh
C'mon c'mom
Woh oh
C'mon c'mon
Woh oh
C'mon c'mon
Let's get together
The lyrics to Cold Fronts's song Primetime touch on the theme of regret and the desire to go back in time and fix one's mistakes. The singer acknowledges that everyone makes mistakes and that he has also made plenty, but he doesn't want to hurt the person he's speaking to by admitting them. Instead, he suggests that they need time to work things out. The music playing in the night adds to the atmosphere of longing and nostalgia as the singer reflects on past events.
The second verse brings in the theme of missed opportunities and failed attempts. The singer seems to have tried to make things better with this person in the past, but it didn't work out, and they were left with regrets. The line "your ship went sailing through the window pane" is an interesting metaphor, suggesting that the opportunity to fix things sailed away and was lost forever. However, the singer still wants to try again and asks why they can't just rewind and start over. The repeated refrain of "we can make it better, let's get together" shows that the singer is determined to try again and make things work.
Overall, Primetime is a wistful and nostalgic song with a message of hope and determination. The singer acknowledges their mistakes and regrets but wants to make things better and is willing to try again with the person they're addressing.
