High Speed
by Coldplay

Can anybody fly this thing
Before my head explodes
Or my head starts to ring

We've been living life
Inside a bubble
We've been living life
Inside a bubble

Confidence in you
Is confidence in me
Is confidence in high speed

Can anybody stop this thing
Before my head explodes
Or my head starts to ring

We've been living life
Inside a bubble
We've been living life
Inside a bubble

Confidence in you
Is confidence in me
Is confidence in high speed

High speed
High speed

High speed you on
High speed you on
High speed you on
High speed you on

I miss the old Coldplay with deeps songs, without costumes, without computer effects, without pretensions, only they playing guitars and piano with melancholic, heart and soul. Only they making us fly.

SteveMutt

There is a 99% chance there are computer effects in this song?

Have always been a huge fan of Coldplay but I don't particularly like this album. It's a bit pretentious and melancholic in my opinion—AROBTTH is near perfect, and X&Y is excellent too. VLV I like about the same as X&Y but for different reasons (it's probably a better album than X&Y overall though), MX is one of their best, GS is like a slightly better version of this one, and AHFOD is very, very underrated. Can't stand EL though sadly. Trouble In Town may be one of their most beautiful songs ever but other than that it's weak to me, which is a shame. Don't see how Parachutes is a musical masterpiece personally, but also don't see how the singles make it bad either—they're the only really great songs on it (except maybe Spies and Sparks).

Hello once a band becomes a brand, they aren’t in control of what they make as much, rather the record label is.
