My temporary struggles or pain do not define me or make me any less valuable as a person.

I may have lost my way or direction, but I haven't lost myself.

Every obstacle that I come across in life, I attempt to overcome it or adapt to it.

Every opportunity that I have tried to pursue was not always successful or greeted with open arms.

I am waiting until the allure of these opportunities fades, and I can see them more accurately without the blinding glimmer.

Someone else may seem more prominent or more successful than I am in my current situation.

But they may only be famous or successful in a specific environment or social circle.

Their success doesn't invalidate mine or stake their claim as the only winner in the game of life.

There is a chance that another, more impressive fish will come along.

This new fish may seem even more successful or impressive than the previous one.

The presence of this new, more impressive fish may leave me feeling lost or unsure of my place.

Just like me, the new fish may face their own obstacles and struggles.

Their past successes do not define their future, and they may not be able to overcome every challenge they face.

I am waiting until they're facing similar struggles to the ones that I faced so that they can see that I am not so different from them.
