Lost?
Coldplay Lyrics

Just because I'm losing
Doesn't mean I'm lost
Doesn't mean I'll stop
Doesn't mean I will cross

Just because I'm hurting
Doesn't mean I'm hurt
Doesn't mean I didn't get what I deserve
No better and no worse
I just got lost
Every river that I've tried to cross
And every door I ever tried was locked
Oh, and I'm just waiting 'till the shine wears off

You might be a big fish
In a little pond
Doesn't mean you've won
'Cause along may come
A bigger one
And you'll be lost

Every river that you tried to cross
Every gun you ever held went off
Oh, and I'm just waiting 'till the firing starts
Oh, and I'm just waiting 'till the shine wears off
Oh, and I'm just waiting 'till the shine wears off

Oh, and I'm just waiting 'till the shine wears off
Oh, and I'm just waiting 'till the shine wears off

What I love about this song is the fact that anyone can relate to it. But that it also has French Revolution themes to it. The album cover is not from THE French Revolution but what is known as the second French Revolution called the "July Revolution" and if you think about this song with that Revolution in mind it adds another tragic feel to this song. The July Revolution came after the fall of Napoleonic France, and the hope died, the dreams of a Democratic-Republic seemed all but lost, there was a king upon France again, but people still rose up again in hopes of a better future. Even the July Revolution would result in another monarchy, which then led to another failed rebellion called the June Rebellion which is the one in Les Miserables, and in fact much of this album was inspired by Les Miserables.

I do think this song was inspired by the time period of the July Revolution and probably many other things too. Some of the lyrics are very self evident of this. Like:
"I just got lost
Every river that I tried to cross
Every door I ever tried was locked
Oh and I'm just waiting till the shine wears off

You might be a big fish
In a little pond
Doesn't mean you've won
Cause along may come
A bigger one

And you'll be lost
Every river that you tried to cross
Every gun you ever held went off
Oh and I'm just waiting till the firing stopped
Oh and I'm just waiting till the shine wears off"

Just because I'm losing
Doesn't mean I'm lost
Doesn't mean I'll stop
Doesn't mean I would cross

Just because I'm hurting
Doesn't mean I'm hurt
Doesn't mean I didn't get
What I deserved
No better and no worse

I just got lost
Every river that I tried to cross
Every door I ever tried was locked
Ohhh and I'm...
Just waiting 'til the shine wears off

You might be a big fish
In a little pond
Doesn't mean you've won
'Cause along may come
A bigger one

And you'll be lost
Every river that you tried to cross
Every gun you ever held went off
Ohhh and I'm...
Just waiting until the firing stopped
Ohhh and I'm...
Just waiting 'til the shine wears off

Ohhh and I'm...
Just waiting 'til the shine wears off
Ohhh and I'm...
Just waiting 'til the shine wears off

The best (then) next-Gen 2K. Loved that career mode and the soundtrack was amazing. I remember getting hyped hearing All of the Lights going into halftime with a good lead

2k13 was my favorite by far due to the music selection and game design. 2k14was still good

Well for me the good ol days were from like 08 to 2013 for me personally, but even now this masterpiece brings me back to 08/09 man. It’s crazy how some songs can actually be time machines
