I really, really didn't expect at all to cry as much as I'm crying right now. I'm litterally sobbing.
I felt tears coming when i was just watching him play, because for the first time in so long, Chris made me feel again what it was like to fall in love in the wide sense, fall in love with the entire human race, with the human nature. Just because he was here, playing, dodling his head. I don't know how to explain why it made me so emotional to watch him. I mean, i've seen him play in videos dozens of times, and I never cried like this. Maybe the feeling that (even if he's way older than me) he grew up so much since Coldplay was born, in every sense of the term, yet here it was like i was seeing him at his beginning, with this look of sheer absorbtion on his face, the way he's lost into the music. Love is radiating out of this man. Love and some sort of purity i can't put words on.
Then, the lyrics, of course. So deep, and powerful. Carrying a beautiful and important message. It makes me feel like every single soul to walk the Earth is important and needed (please, who ever you are who's reading this, you're important. We need you here. And i love you).
On a more personnal note, when he said "so if you love someone/you should let them know" made me burst into tears even more because the man i love is far, far away, I'll probably never see him again and I never told him about how I feel. Never. I couldn't.
And, finally, the images of the great Mohammed Ali, may his soul rest in peace in God's heaven. I'm muslim, like he was. So when he said that he wants to see what Heaven is like, it made me laugh and cry even more at the same time. Because i know he's there. There in heaven. And it makes me so peaceful.

Long story short, there was a whole lot of tears ^^ Chris, thank you. Thank you so much for everything you're doing, for the beautiful light you're spreading on this planet. I love you. I couldn't love you more than i do tonight. Thank you.

I know most people think about loved ones who passed away when they hear this song, but for me, it holds a different meaning. For me, it’s me looking back and hanging onto a relationship that’s been long gone. I made mistakes. I took things for granted. I miss that feeling it used to give me. That everglow of being loved is magical. That feeling that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. Even til now, all I ever think about is…how do we get back? Yesterday I had to bury my partner after 12 years of relationship. He died in a plane crash and was the love of my life, my soulmate and best friend. My dad passed away a few weeks ago and he’s the one who introduced me to music and made me fall in love with it, specifically Coldplay. This is a song that I listened to and loved for a long time but I didn’t realize the true meaning until after my dad passed away. This song describes how I feel in my grief and I feel less alone knowing that this is a feeling someone else has felt too. This is, in my opinion, the best thing they ever produced. People idolize the past because it is a part of what formed them. It feels classic. Someday this may feel classic too. But many Coldplay songs have meaningless or uninteresting lyrics. These lyrics are the opposite. They are arresting and the backing music is incredible as well. I have never lost someone close to me (at least not in a sudden way I wasn't prepared for) but I find this song almost overwhelming.

I still remember when my friend was going through tough times and almost considered suicide, I called him on the phone and said "Bro.. Wanna go get some coffee and listen to some coldplay?" He agreed to meet and we got some coffee and listened to this track and then some others. We didn't talk until after a couple of songs later. He calmed down and told me "Man.. I was in a rollover accident on a rough gravel road. My vehicle was destroyed and I was told I am lucky to be alive. Thanks to my seatbelt I walked away with only a small cut. When the crash happened I was listening to this song through my phone which flew out of the vehicle window during the crash. I always thought it was the work of god that this song is about a crash and going back to the start. After my crash my life completely changed and for a year I could never listen to this song because it brought back haunting memories but today I had a lot on my mind and this song popped into my head so I decided to 'go back to the start' and listen to it again. This time the song brought me comfort and I realised that this song is no longer about bad memories for me but about my life being saved and second chances. I have been brought back to the start and I will live my life to the absolute fullest and will never take anything for granted. I will use it on my channel playlist!

When through times few years back. From 2016 to 2018, it was the hardest times I have experienced.
Jumping jobs, unemployed for almost a year, heartbreaks, then deaths of family member and closed friends.
This song helped me to go through those years. although it has been 6 years since they released the album, been listening to this masterpiece everyday.
