Colonia quickly became one of the most popular dance groups in Croatia and its popularity later grew in other areas of former Yugoslavia, as well as worldwide.
Tomislav Jelić left the group in 2014. Indira Levak left the group in 2017. The same year, Ivana Lovrić became the new vocalist of Colonia.
So far they have released 13 studio albums, 3 compilation (Greatest Hits) albums, 6 EP albums and 40+ singles.

Kao mala obozavala sam Coloniu i uvijek bi sjedila ispred TV-a cekajuci njihove pjesme i onda mi je tetka presnimila spotove na kazetu jer tada nismo imali CD-ove i gledala sam ih po cijeli dan

Ne, jednostavno neko lijepo vrijeme gdje je uz ostale ukuse glazbeni na domaćoj sceni bio prisutan i plesali smo i uzivali na rođendanima tad, miješajući kolu, fantu i bombone, one kiki naravno da ne bude zabave

Problem modernog doba je što nam je previše toga dostupno. Tada smo imali malo i znali smo kako da budemo srećni. Sada imamo (skoro) sve i zato smo nesrećni.
