They invited Indira "Ira" Levak to become their vocalist. The name of the group comes from the ancient Latin name of the Croatian town Vinkovci which was "Colonia Aurelia Cibalae".
Colonia quickly became one of the most popular dance groups in Croatia and its popularity later grew in other areas of former Yugoslavia, as well as worldwide.
Tomislav Jelić left the group in 2014. Indira Levak left the group in 2017. The same year, Ivana Lovrić became the new vocalist of Colonia.
So far they have released 13 studio albums, 3 compilation (Greatest Hits) albums, 6 EP albums and 40+ singles.

Overall Meaning

The song "Rendezvous" by Colonia is a plea for a second chance at love despite the pain and hurt that has been caused. The lyrics begin with the singer acknowledging that there may be a good reason for the ending of the relationship, but she questions why her partner is offering her pain and forgetfulness instead of happiness and reconciliation. She admits that she will not speak another word to him, as she knows how to recognize the end of a relationship, but if there is still hope, she asks him to drop the acting and look at her. She has always been able to forgive, even if it meant learning how to with him.

The chorus is a plea to stay a little longer, that it is not too late to start over, and to let the night be like a dream, as if it were their first rendezvous. The second verse addresses the possibility of there being someone new in his life who may understand him better, but the singer recognizes that it may be too late for words and he may be lost.
