Astride a mountain. Hallowed Blade. Immortal throne. King Disowned
Fountain's wish. Hands shapen. Shaman's disease. Man is myth
Blade of blackened. Ancient taker. Once supreme. Towers unseen
In the song "Gravity Chasm" by Conan, the lyrics delve into a mythical and mysterious narrative. The first verse paints a vivid picture of someone positioned on top of a mountain, wielding a revered and sacred sword. However, despite their regal presence, this individual finds themselves disowned from the throne, giving an air of tragedy to their story.
The second verse introduces the concept of a wish from a fountain, suggesting the presence of supernatural or magical elements. The hands mentioned are shaped, perhaps implying the power to shape one's own destiny. The mention of the shaman's disease adds further intrigue, suggesting a curse or affliction that is associated with someone who possesses mythical powers or knowledge. The line "man is myth" could be interpreted to mean that the person in question has become a legendary figure, transcending typical human existence.
The final line of this verse refers to a blade that was once supreme but has now turned dark or corrupted. This implies a fall from grace or a loss of power for the person previously associated with this weapon. Additionally, the mention of "towers unseen" adds an air of mystery and hidden knowledge to the narrative.
