1) Contreband is a french rock band, sounding like "noir desir", with deep and powerful texts and a lot of different musical influences (from reggae to metal).

2) Contreband is also a Jazzrock Trio from Biel/Switzerland, playing mostly jazzy interpretations of rock songs such as "Lithium" by Nirvana or "National Anthem" by Radiohead.
