(1) Born to Puerto Rican parents in New York City, Corina Katt Ayala recorded her first Freestyle hit, Out of Control, while still in College. This was followed up with a string of increasingly successful dance singles, one of which, 1991's Temptation, peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard Top 100 charts. Also in 1991, her self titled debut album was released on Atco Records.
Ayala has also appeared in a small number of movies, most recently 2005's Fortunes.

Odata cu albumui IMI PLACE โฆTOT !, Corina a inceput ore de coregrafie avandu-l drept profesor pe CRBL de la Simplu si sa se pregateasca intens pentru concertele ce vor urma.
Schimbarea nu a venit fara munca. Multa munca de studio pentru pregatirea albumului, ore lungi de coregrafie, filmarea, deloc usoara a unui videoclip in luna decembrie (pe 24 decembrie mai exact) , la aproape -15 grade Celsius.
In toamna anului 2005 Corina a lansat cel de-al doilea single de pe albumul IMI PLACE โฆTOT, โFara tineโ. โFara tineโ s-a bucurat de un mare succes in randul ascultatorilor de radio iar clipul a rulat saptamani intregi pe Tv.

Miss Corina as a man who grew up during freestyle I just want to say thank you so very much for your beauty, talent and music. Most fun times of my life were buying clothes to go clubbing on weekends to see you and all your colleagues at Emerald city, Devils nest, Fun House , Heartthrobs, L'Amour east, Roxy, Studio 55, 1018 ect. The ladies were so fly and the men did our best to look as good as possible. Miss those days.

I enjoyed your music as well. I didn't go clubbing till early 90s. So missed the boat on basically....Lloll..... all of, your live performances. But?...I remember this single of yours breaking out around February of 87, during a massive snow storm. or was that the song January February. anyway it was some time in 87. Great song. I love Freestyle so much that my wife sometimes gets jealous when I listen to it and dance by myself ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ.... I feel so fortunate to have been able to live through the entire Freestyle Era... And I remember attending to all these concerts... I saw Corina at the Latin Quarter Club on Broadway back in 88... She was beautiful then and she is even more beautiful today... I hope my wife doesn't find this ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
