This and Kristys song are the best of cosmicity sadly enough they overdo the backing vocals but this song sound more Anything Box then cosmicity :D

@Synthetic Dawn I'd wager that you'll find zero takers on Kristi's Song being the 2nd best Cosmicity song. Music is really subjective, so I'm glad you like that song (I obviously liked it when I wrote it too), but the data is clear that Kristi's Song has always been one of the least popular Cosmicity songs. It's almost at the very bottom of all other Cosmicity songs for both purchases and streams. The actual other most popular songs are I Want You, Alone, Tinnitus, The Moment, and Reparations - with a few new album tracks quickly rising. Folks who like the song "Awake" have been really gravitating toward "Warm" and/or "Geometry" from Twice Daily.
Also worth noting: there are more prominent backing vocals on this song than almost any other song I've put out in the last 10 years. I get that you don't like the backing vocalist on the song Make No Mistake from 18 years ago, but there are barely any backing vocals on anything else I've released since that time. Certainly no distinguishable female backing vocals at all.
Interesting totally unrelated side note: This is not the original / album version of "Awake". It's actually an extended mix created by my old record label for a long-forgotten compilation.
